Plastic and metal brushes are rough on the scalp. Wooden combs are soft and polished. They have a much softer feel than plastic or metal combs. If you have sensitive scalp then wooden combs can prevent bruising or scraping your scalp. Wooden combs prevent your hair from dying out because it helps to distribute oil from your scalp to hair. The sebum that's produced on the scalp is distributed throughout the length which prevents your scalp from getting greasy. Unlike plastic, it doesn't produce static or snap your hair. Wood has the property to not conduct electricity so it prevents damage from static. For long hair, wooden combs are best because they evenly distribute hair oils in the length. Your hair appears shiny, they give you hair an even and lustrous look.

wood is magic
I always comb my hair with this wooden comb. Since I been doing it my hair has thickened , it radiates more and it just feels good all over. At night I sit on my bed and keep combing my hair with it for 10 or so minutes, sometimes 20. If you want hair regrowth and rejuvenation of hair, then get rid of plastic combs and use natural wood.

Very pleased with this purchase. The scent was a little too strong to start with but it faded quickly. Comb works wonderfully for detangling and preventing static build up. Feels very gentle on my hair and scalp. Seems like very high quality for a reasonable price. Good purchase.

Handle is of good length. However, doesn't feel very comfortable on scalp. The ones they sell on Amazon, with Ox horn feel much better. Else, than that no qualms yet. Not sure about therapeutic benefits, however, I am happy to use it every day. Mush better than plastic cheap grocery store combs.

This comb is amazing. I have long, very fine hair that is prone to static. This comb has replaced any other styling instrument, it is so effective at ridding my hair of static and smoothing it. I have used it for a year and a half, and I am very happy with it.

Very nice.
This comb is very nice..makes my hair fluffy. I think it is very well made and will last a long time ..I wish it was a little bigger and I am afraid to use it with my wet hair..but it is very nice and I am very happy with it.

My hair still has static
I've had this for 5 days now and can't tell any difference in the amount of static in my hair versus the plastic comb I was using and that I thought was causing all the static. I hope this changes, and if so, I'll update my review.

bad quality
This comes good, but after a few uses (1-2 week), there are 3-5 small crack developed at the root of the teeth, and the space between teeth becomes very uneven. Bad quality product, I am going to return it.

Works great on tangled hair
I ordered this comb about six months back because i felt as if my current plastic comb was pulling or snagging at my hair too much. I have fine hair, it doesn't get too knotted but sometimes when it is wet it gets a bit tangled. This comb works right through knots and tangles without any pain or struggle.
