COVERGIRLLip Perfection Lipstick Smolder 205, 0.12-Ounce

So difficult to find, but the best.

Before purchasing from Amazon, I stopped at a store to view the Lip Perfection collection in person. Though only the ends of the tubes with the color swatches were visible, I was astonished by the color selection. With only forty-four shades, there are multiple choices suitable for every age and skin color, and nearly every occasion. I've seen lines of lip color that have far more shades that still do not meet these criteria.I selected 320. There is no rhyme or reason to the shade names. I just liked the shade and decided to try it. I do love the shade, and I will try others.Cover Girl raises the bar with a formula that feels wonderful on the lips and has decent staying power. The texture is hard to describe, but here is what it's not: gummy, greasy, dry, cakey, heavy, waxy, or slimy. It does not bleed or roll. You can build the color by applying more, or apply less for more subtle results.There is every reason to try this lipstick. Its only flaw is that it transfers. It will deposit color on your coffee mug, or someone's face if you kiss. You may need to reapply or touch it up. Don't wear it for your wedding, but wear it every chance you get!Update: After purchasing Soulmate twice, I decided to try Siren. A better name for this shade would be Flirting with Fuschia. It's a deep yet bright pink with purple undertones. This is fabulous when you're wearing neutral shade clothing. It's a pop, a burst, of color that's almost over the edge! But it's so gorgeous! It's cheerful, and a perfect winter color. I love this line of lipstick. Two wings up.

I was looking through my cosmetics (which is a huge task because I have so much stuff) when I found my tube of CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Ferver. I generally like darker spice or plum shades but this shade is very flattering on my medium toned skin. I am a brunette with brown eyes and am a bit on the pale side. The lipstick is still creamy after sitting quite a while and applies evenly. It's quite opaque but not too thick and it has no taste and barely any scent. It's fairly long wearing for a lipstick and fades away slowly without leaving weird looking patches behind. I am more into lip stains now because I hate to constantly reapply but I am wearing this lipstick again and liking it. I do have to reapply it throughout the day but it adds moisture to my lips and has a subtle sheen. I think I will check out the other shades and buy a couple more.

I've only worn this twice, the color is awesome (Embrace) and the staying power is pretty good. This is a little bit too glossy for my taste, I prefer matte but that's not why I gave it 4 stars. Since it is a bit glossy, it slides around a lot. I discovered that at the end of the day, although the lipstick had not rubbed off, it had collected in all of my lip lines. I get that with most lipsticks but this one was just too much for my taste. I still love the color which is a rich plum based color, really pretty and unique and goes well with my tan skin. It was also really hard to remove at the end of the night which is strange because it's kind of glossy! It had stained into my lip but not the kind where it looks like its naturally stained with some lipsticks, this gave me blotchy weird lips like I had a disease.. My bf and I had some laughs over how crazy my lips looked :D I'll still try other colors especially because I had a coupon from Amazon for this so it came out to be only about $1 which is AWESOME! This is a shade #380 Dazzle - very subtle red. Cover Girl has discontinued it and I was fortunate to find it on Amazon website.Supplier - Fairweather Forge - arrived in a beautiful packaging. Very special.

I've tried several colors in Covergirl's new Lip Perfection line. It's hard for me to find lipstick that doesn't peel or chap my lips, but this one is working well for me. The feel is almost like a lip balm. The colors I've tried (Rush, Rich, Soulmate, and Smitten) have all been highly pigmented, with a big color pay-off. They're not sheer at all, so keep that in mind if you're more of a gloss type person. The color selection in this line is huge (44 shades at last count). While I can't say if they will really improve the look and feel of your bare lips if you wear them for seven days like the ads say, I can vouch for the fact that they didn't make my lips worse after I've worn them like some lipsticks do. Also the colors stay on surprisingly well, almost like a long wear lipstick formula. The only reason I didn't give Soulmate a 5 star rating was because it has a little bit of shimmer to it that I didn't care for. Other than that, it's a great bright berry shade that's perfect for spring and summer.

I love that this lipstick is somehow right between too creamy and matte. Its matte enough to have a little hold, creamy enough to add a touch of moisture and not be too thick. With Covergirl Lip Perfection lip liner in Passion (completely covering lips underneath)... this will last all day.The flame is a very bright red with orange undertones. Because its so intensely bright (instead of slightly muted), it might be best for people with medium-dark skin. It is not pink at all; its definitely Red Lipstick... and one made for people that look best in gold jewelry, and bronze or orangish-coral lipstick doesn't look crazy on them.I don't have the skintone for Flame. My skin is very fair. I look best in silver jewelry. Bronze and most coral lipsticks look clownish orange on me.

I used to wear this Lipstick years ago. Regrettably, Covergirl is no longer available here in the UK. Within 10 days of dispatch I have received the 2 I ordered. The quality and colour are the same as I remember. Excellent! Will be ordering more in the future. Thank You Covergirl!

Excellent product. Very smooth on lips. Gives a very good coverage.

REALLY BAD.The brand is great, and I even got a pack of two instead do one... But it was horrible. It's a shiny blind colour that looks gross on Indian skin. Perhaps the reviews are for white skin since this is an international brand but NOT FOR INDIANS. it's just SHINY.
