Bought the dark brown leather cap.Leather is thin & soft but as its only sitting on your head that's not bad.Sizing seemed OK. It fitted.Found it comfortable & warm.Being leather rain just runs off.No wet fabric cap stuffed in a jacket pocket.I'm happy with my purchase.
