Please read before purchase if (like me) you are collecting Paula's books!
I am giving World of Food a five star review because this is a wonderful book - as are all of Paula Wolferts books. I will edit this when I have cooked from it some more as I recently purchased it.BUT, PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE! World of Food is the EXACT same book (even the units of measurement are the same) as Paula Wolferts Mostly Mediterranean which I purchased at the same time. Nowhere on this listing or on the listing for Mostly Mediterranean, does it say that this is a reprint. On the back of Mostly Mediterranean it says in very fine print it says "Previously published as Paula Wolfert's World of Food" (published in 1988) I have looked through both editions, and haven't discovered any updates in Mostly Mediterranean (Published by Penquin in 1996)It would have been nice if that information was in the item description. I purchased it from a secondary seller and will probably just gift Mostly Mediterranean rather than return it (my World of Food is a hardcover and MM is a paperback so World of Food is the keeper for me)Hope this helps someone avoid making the same mistake I did. If this has been helpful to you, please click the helpful button. It's a great feeling when I see that my reviews helped someone who is hunting down the same products I am :)

Not my favorite of Paula's books.
Dated recipes. And too "too," technically. Returned it.
