Well made, a kind of pricey for what it is
Not stainless, will rust eventually.

Too large for my situation, but quality seemed good
Good quality part, but fully clamped it was loose on my application which was at or just a hair smaller than the stated diameter. So, if your pipe is larger, it will likely work. If it is at the size, or anything , (I mean anything smaller) smaller, than don't buy this, buy the next smaller size. In my case, this was the smallest size. I ended up at the muffler shop for a $$$ fix. Better luck I hope for you.

This joint was perfect for my application ('03 Pontiac Vibe)
This joint was perfect for my application ('03 Pontiac Vibe). My exhaust pipe had broken off of the outlet of the catalytic converter (clean break at the factory weld joint). The downstream exhaust pipe was 2 1/4" OD and the outlet flange of the catalytic converter was slightly larger, more like 2 3/8". This clamp made a tight fit to both surfaces. I did put exhaust joint compound around the seam prior to putting on the clamp. As I tightened down the clamp, the joint compound oozed out all the way around both ends, so I am pretty sure I have a nice, tight seal. Installation was super easy. The part can easily flex enough for you to get it over an existing pipe - no issue whatsoever. Lining up the bolts and tightening was simple. (Other had complained of difficulty, but I have to wonder if they had mis-sized the joint.) Quality seem quite good - we'll see what happens over time.

This one's a bargain that didn't disappoint
These are a bargain. They fit well and when you crank them down nice and tight you can see the metal sleeve conform to the pipe. The zinc coated bolts were easy enough to get started using a palm ratchet and they sealed up well. I was surprised to see they had a dab of some kind of black sticky sealant stuck to the joint of the sleeve. I had to remove a waxy paper from the top of it prior to installation.

useful
I had to cut my exhaust because of rust so I bought this to reconnect it. Works but wish it didn't have one end bigger than the other.

Quick, easy and makes life easier during future repairs
This clamp worked great to seal 2 1/4 slip together pipes. There is a little rubber or tar puck at the pinch point to help seal it. Sure, it costs more than a traditional crush clamp, but the fact that you can take the muffler off without cutting is worth the extra few bucks when it comes time to replace it in a couple years. It doesn't crush either of the pipes being joined. Coat the threads with antiseize and you should be good to go the next time you need to work on you exhaust.

Great Clamps for Many Exhaust Applications
I prefer band type clamps for automotive exhausts in most locations where there is an OD-ID overlap. I bought one of these at 2-1/4" and another at 2-1/8". Both fit perfectly for my application, and when I had to remove the exhaust to make some modifications near the engine, these joints came apart quickly and easily as they seal by overlapping the joint rather than crimping one section to the other.
