This is awesome ! it's a S35VN steel blade with carbon fiber handles.. It's has three different milling sets of stripes on the handles and it's very light for it's size because the handle opposite of the lock side is solid carbon fiber and the only liner is on the lock side for the frame lock with a lock bar insert. its very sharp and has great detent, I love the blade shape and it's very smooth because it's has a ball bearing pivot. The flipper tab acts as a finger guard when opened. It's not deep carry but don't let that stop you from buying it because it's awesome! I have most of the higher end Kubeys and they get more impressive as they go. I'm very impressed with kubey knives because they care if you have any problems with your knife and will take care of it! So rest assured with your purchase.

this is an amazingly light knife at just over 3 ounces. it is all about carbon fiber. S35V steel. razor sharp. deploys like the marines! i'd say buy one before they are gone but apparently they may be gone. really happy with this knife. big knife that is feather light. easy to carry. kubey is all about value. less than 100 bucks is a steal
