Energizer Vision LED Camping Lantern, Bright Battery Powered Lantern, Water Resistant Emergency Light, Pack of 1, Red

I bought two of these Energizer 1000 Lumens with USB power bank (from a local box store) to charge our cellphones last year during brief power outages from storms. These lanterns take 4 D batteries and work great for our purposes--3 levels of light (dim to very bright), phone charger, with an easy carry handle and overall sturdy to stand upright. I decided to buy two more and could not locate anywhere until I found them on Amazon--thanks Amazon! I decided I needed one more and it was delivered the other day in ONLY a polyvinyl envelope??? The lantern is not in a clam shell or box--why on earth would Amazon ship in a polyvinyl envelope only??? I heard the delivery person/or USPS "drop" it on our our porch. Luckily nothing seems broken--for now--but Amazon please put in a box or minimum in a bubble envelope next time.

This is our second one of these … perfect for extended lights-out moments, like hurricane season. Great value for the price, very bright and easy to use. Love them!

I bought this for my husband to take on fishing walks down to the water when we are camping. He loved it and requested that I get him a second one! He likes to hang them on shepherd's hooks down by the water to put higher up and keep off the ground. We also use them on our picnic table at night when back at the campsite. Having different levels of lighting for brightness was very cool. The additional USB port to charge our phone was a nice bonus!

I bought two of these after a bad storm caused us to lose power for several hours and we only had one flashlight for a family of four. The brightness of the lantern is perfect and it’s slim design allowed for it to be stowed away without causing any clutter. I have not been able to test out the battery life since I’ve not had it a long time but I feel that it should last long given that it is LED. The material is made out of a heavy duty plastic and the handle is rubber.Definitely worth the peace of mind for the price

I was affected by the Texas power outage, we had little to no preparation besides a 700 lumen flashlight and an 8 pack of AA’s, so I picked up supplies in case this ever happens again. I’ve been playing with it and I gotta say it definitely lights up a room especially if the walls are a light color and if there’s mirrors present, it can be slightly straining to look directly in the direction of the light. Low mode works fine and reminds me of the setting I had my headlamp (also from energizer, picked it up 2 days into the outage). As far as materials, it feels great and robust, the D cell batteries really add a heft to it that makes it feel like it’ll last. My only complaint is the night light, it’s just one little orange LED in the middle and it’s very dim compared to the promo picture, to the point where I may not find myself using it, I thought it’d mimic a campfire lighting scenario but it’s just dark and dim, it’d be hard to read a book with it, perhaps going to the restroom or just having it running over night in that setting would be fine, overall I do see myself buying another one, it’s slim so it doesn’t take up much space. I also got a 16 pack of D batteries to store, I may also pick up a 500 lumen light, but I think i’m good for now, I would definitely take it on a trip, camping, etc, in it’s 1000 lumen mode, it’s definitely amazing.

I'm excited to have this in my emergency kit at home for power outages which lately we seem to be having more frequently anymore guess it's due to the sizes of the trees but whatever it is seems to be happening a lot . You just don't know so this light is extremely bright and the 3 options of brightness are a nice option and the real plus is a port to charge your phone wow won't have to run to the car . I do have a charger to charge my phone but the last time I went to use it go figure it was dead so I had to charge both items being there are 3 of us with phones at least one of us will get a charge. Now this won't recharge but I'm thinking with 4 new D batteries it'll do the jobLeave it to Energizer to be a part of the present everyday needs.

Good quality product, easy to use.

We had a power outage and needed a worker in the basement which was very dark. He showed up with one of these and we were so impressed with how bright it was we purchased two of these. There are 3 settings of brightness so these would work really well for camping. We have since had another outage and used them, it was almost like having a lamp in the room. They light up a lot of space and would strongly recommend them.

This Lantern is small but extremely bright. It's putting my other bigger one to shame. The batteries were very easy to install and I love it. I would highly recommend this Lantern for sure.
