August Silk Women's Long Sleeve Crew Neck Silk Blend Twin Sweater Cardigan

I bought an August Silk cardigan sweater in a store a few years ago and I am still wearing it- it was a good buy. I wanted to order some more so I went on Amazon and ordered two sweaters. They fit great, but they have what seems to be flaws in the fabric- darker areas and areas that appear to be discolored or in some way flawed. The flaws are more apparent on the gray sweater and less so on the black one. I thought of keeping the black sweater and washing it to see if the color evens out, but I'm afraid it won't and I'll be stuck with a flawed sweater. I am really disappointed and will be sending them back.Edited to add- I just found out that I have to pay to send the items back to the seller- I don't yet know how much it will cost, but I wish I would have paid more attention when I ordered. It is galling to have to pay to send back items that have flaws and aren't first quality.edited- 2/15/2019: I changed my review to one star. I did send the sweaters back on 2/4/2019 and ended up paying 14.25 to do that. Then today, 2/15/2019, the package arrived back on my doorstep because the address that was emailed to me by the company was not correct! So, the package was not deliverable! What a ripoff!!! I am very upset- I would give this seller no stars if that was possible. I can't believe all these glowing reviews- it's hard to imagine that they are real with what I have gone through. I have has this sweater for years and left it at a restaurant far from home. I was happy to find it on Amazon. Looks like new after years. Does not pill but does shrink a little bit. I like my sweaters looser fitting. I am tall and slender but medium fits perfect. Sleeve and torso are cut longer which is nice. If you're looking for a classic black or color cardigan that will last buy this. Also the black sweater had mother of pearl buttons which was great because they did not weigh down the sweater of fade off / paint chip.

I love August Silk cartigans, I have a lime green one I've worn for several years. Sizing is as you'd expect. I'm 5'5" and weigh 128 and a M works well, not too tight.However, I ordered the White Sweater and it's actually more of an Off-White or Winter White not White. I plan to keep it because it's a great cartigan, but will search for a WHITE sweater.

I love it! The fabric is soft, lightweight, and silky. The pink color is exactly what I wanted. It's great for the spring. This could be worn during any season. It feels warm on my skin during cool climates. It feels cool on my skin during warm climates. I really enjoy the fact that I can wear it during warm seasons as well, to protect my sensitive skin from the sun's rays during the summer. It's so versatile. The length is just right, because it's not too short or too long. It's very comfortable.

I really Like August Silk cardigans, which is why I purchased it from Amazon. It seems to be difficult to find fairly suddenly so I jumped on it. Beautifully made and also fits very well.

Soft and comfy, and retained its clean lines after machine washing/drying. I bought an XL because I don't like too tight sweaters. It hung nicely, didn't look overly large. Deep black color. I tend to wear out the elbows on sweaters--hoping these will last a while.

bought 2 several years ago and they have been wonderful. I wear a s but opt for a med just to be more loose. Have long arms and these fit well.

Love this brand. Can always count on a correct fit.
