Great product and keeps our pool warm
We have a 600 ft.² inground pool with a heater. Living in South Florida. There’s only a couple months a year where this is neede. we used to use a big tarp looking thing that came on the spindle that you rolled out over the entire pool. It worked OK, but it was so difficult to put on and then takeoff. With these 2 pound inflatable toppers, our pool evaporation has gone to almost nil, where we usually lose about 6 to 10 gallons a day. Since it’s winter, we can heat our large pool up to about 90° and overnight with the temperature of 70° outside, the pool is only losing about 2°. If you do have a large pool, it does take quite a few of these to cover it - in our case 12. But if you enjoy a warm pool in the winter time, highly recommend for both your electricity bill and your water bill.

WASTE OF MONEY
Don't waste your money. I bought two last October and just opened them for the summer. One had a hole in it and the other one will not lay flat. It's bent on two sides. They are so small you need 10-20 to cover your pool. I emailed the company with no response.

Overpriced
A bad implementation of a good idea. Constantly needing to be reinflated. Not very sturdy.

Works with the right conditions
We have an Intex above ground pool, 4 ft high and 16 ft wide in diameter - located in the Midwest, northwest suburb Chicago land area. We bought 7 of these to almost perfectly cover the whole pool. The reason we bought this was to mainly provide some additional heat but also to prevent heat loss and evaporation overnight. Regarding heat, we can have up to a 10 degree (F) difference as long as there is sun. No sun, not that much of a difference. We have also seen a difference to how much water is saved overnight not to mention the heat as well. We have had 2 weeks of straight high 80s-90s with partly sunny to all sunny days and have only noticed less than a 1/4 in if water and have not yet needed to refill. Prior to the rings, I probably would have lossed an inch or inch and a half with these same conditions. Out of the two years we’ve had them, we have had one with a leak in the middle section and will be purchasing another one to replace it. Another huge thing is to at least clean the top surface of them so that when there is sun, it can directly penetrate and do its thing. I plan to quickly wash them at least once every 3 weeks or once a month. It may seem a lot of work but we don’t want to buy a heater. In the near future, looking at doing a DIY water heater with some copper and a wood burning fire pit. Until then, this will do.

Warms quickly
This ring was so easy to inflate - not much air goes in. It heated my pool one degree per day and I am on day 8. Water temp started at 65 degrees and now it is 73 degrees. It is amazing.

Nice idea, poor quality control!
Good idea. Had to return multiple rings due to pin hole leaks especially at seams. Disappointing.
