I love these lights. Do they last an extremely long time? No. If you want lights to last for years then spend the money and get more expensive ones. These might last all season and may even have one or two that will last into the next year if you are lucky. This is my second set that I have purchased. I think they are very cute in my frog pond and the frogs love to sit on them.

I love these for the pool. When I went to push on I noticed it was already ON. So far the padt 2 days it has been cloudy here. It does not light up at darkness. I'll give it a couple more days before I will have to return it. Lively item for pool, let's hope it lights up soon. I don't want to have to return it. Thank you. Deborah

Not bad for the reduced price (the 'list' price is absurdly high) and they do look good at night in my small fountain, but don't expect them to last forever - once water gets inside the main unit housing, it'll be the beginning of the end. It's a shame because with a perhaps a small improvement in the waterproofing they'd be good value.

Does not always illuminate. Some nights it works and some nights they do not light up. I am not sure why. Seems completely random. The only thing I can guess is that there is a short somewhere. Seems like they work maybe 50% of the time. I guess that's better value than some people have gotten...

I have changed my review from 5 to 3 because the product color fades over time.. and it fades quickly in full sun. would be nice for a container pond under a covered structure.

I was great looking in the pool and the cost should of been less, it did not last it rusted and it did not power up with the sun for the solar lighting.

I was hesitant to buy this because of the negative reviews, but I noticed that the main complaint was about water getting into and corroding the battery compartment. I decided to try them anyway and simply wrapped the battery compartment well with waterproofing tape. Problem solved! They've been working flawlessly for weeks and are so pretty at night. During the day they cast interesting shadows on the pool bottom. Love them!

I'm disappointed. They have not alighted. I even took them out of the water and put them IN DIRECT sunshine ... nothing. They are still pretty floating around in my water feature.
