Shoulder pully

Good but not great
Slower shipping than usual. Price is higher than other brand. I bought a cheaper one from another brand to use while waiting to receive this Norco Shoulder Pulley and it worked the same, so I keep both. Also, it might be a challenge to setup this Norco to someone who has a rotator cuff surgery because you have to position the strap over the top of a close/open door.

Perfect for me
I read a lot of reviews for other brands offering a similar products. All the complaints of a thin cord, the irregular unsmooth and noisy movement of the cord when pulled, the pulley getting hot or breaking or getting off the track, and the part that goes over the door either not fitting or leaving a mark. None of that is a problem with this brand. I like how it's designed so it fits any door and is made out of nylon and rubber. It does come off the door the moment you open the door, but I'm ok with that. I'm NOT in a wheel chair, so I can easily reach up and put it at the top of the door each time I need to use it. Common sense tells you how to shorten the cord (by tying a higher knot) The handles are hard plastic. Someone complained about the cord rubbing between your fingers. I can see that happening; but just make some adjustments with how you hold it. I'd much rather it work overall in the ways that are important to me. Hopefully I can get my frozen shoulder to loosen up with this device that my P.T. recommended.

This product seems a little light weight after the one ...
This product seems a little light weight after the one I purchased many years ago that I wish I still had. The older one was made of heavier and more durable parts and cordage than this newer one. When the cord wears out, I will replace it with heavier cord. Otherwise, this one looks okay, works okay, and appears to do what it needs to.To other reviewers, grasp the handle palm down and string between middle finger and ring finger to keep even pressure across the handle -- shouldn't cause irritation that way.

Inexpensive but does the job!
I am doing physical therapy for shoulder surgery and using a pulley was one of the many exercises that I must do daily. This particular item meets the need nicely.

Three Stars
Remember this, you need a door that opens/closes over the buckle. (Look close). There are some You-tube videos to show how to exercise with it but they had a different type of "over the door" buckle! Haven't used it yet, my threshold is to hard to reach from wheelchair. I will have my home health aide hook it up for me.
