8pcs 30mm-35mm Anti-Slip Silicone Furniture Chair Table Foot Leg Protective Cover

I purchased these for a set of kitchen chairs with sturdy, square metal legs that have been problematic for us. The front legs of each chair feature an adjustable screw with attached rubber foot that allows each foot to independently accommodate for any imbalance in chair and/or flooring. The problem with this feature is that the screwed in piece would frequently disengage, leaving the chair very wobbly, and requiring me to search/retrieve the missing screw/foot from beneath the table. There had to be some type of simple solution, and while perusing AMAZON's merchandise, I spied these silicone tips and thought I'd give them a try. Guess what --- they worked PERFECTLY! The "screwed in" portion at the bottom of the chair legs no longer come off - and the chair glides in and out without any difficulty. Now, as far as "looks" go... these SILICONE GEL COVERS are a bit large and unsightly despite their being "clear" in nature, however, the trade-off of not having to constantly find/reattach problematic "loose screw feet" makes this an ingenious solution and worthwhile investment.

The measurements advertised are not correct. They are not 40x40mm; they are 1 1/4 by 1 3/4. 40 mm is 1.575 inches. I needed what was advertised - 1 1/2 x 1 1/2. What I was provided does not work for me. So, I went on Amazon to return them, and I'm told I must pay for the return postage myself. Since the item only cost less than $7, I'll pay more than that to return them to you. Frankly, I’m not concerned about the $7. I am very bothered that this was falsely advertised, and by making me pay return postage, they've made it impossible or impractical for me to return them.

Have tried MANY different types of sliders. This one works the best for us. Chairs are different widths in the front and back and that's been a non-issue as the "cut" in the side of the silicon lets it grasp different sized chair legs. Our chairs are higher bar-stool height and brown. If they were shorter and lighter, perhaps you'd "see" these more, but I hardly notice them.... except getting in and out of the chair and then find I really like them!

I've been using the adhesive felt pads since that is all the hardware stores have carried. I hated them as they would fall off immediately, flip over get stuck on the floor, leave adhesive marks and collect hair like all get out. I saw these, measured the legs on my chairs to make sure I got the right size and bought them. I HIGHLY recommend these. They install in seconds and it's been over 2 months without any problems.

Fast shipping, product is pretty much as it is described. I just don't like the look. It cheapens the chairs and table. I would almost prefer a dyed silicon in popular shades. I think a brown would less noticeable on the furniture than the clear. The clear is very noticeable.However, they have stayed on, were easy to slide right on the leg and the felt pads haven't come off. I've only had a month but nevertheless, they're still on there.

I wrote a review for a round version of these, and this is every bit as good. You will find them on Amazon under a variety of brands, but I suspect they are all made by the same factory (probably in China). The bottom line is that they work, and they work better than anything I have tried to protect my floors. Just chose the size you need and you won't be disappointed.

The measurements are very misleading. 40x40mm is an outside measurement not an inside measurement. As it stands, I have to return them because the chair legs are 40x40mm which makes the legs too big to fit inside the silicon sleeve.

Best design and material on these gliders. They stay in place and move smoothly across the tile floor with no noise. It was easy to contact the seller and their response was quick. They were shipped from China and at my home in under two weeks. Well worth the wait!
