Savic Rody Igloo Rat and Guinea Pig House

This works great for a hedgehog. Mine chews through those fabric huts and it is hard to find huts the right size for a hedgehog. This one is perfect with a pics of fleece shoved in for comfort

My Syrian hamster loved this igloo. She stuffed it with bedding to create a cozy burrow for sleeping and hiding her snacks.

It's cute but not very sturdy. We switched to a bigger hidey hole.

Well, I intentioned to use it as a hide away for my rabbit, but it’s smaller than I thought it would be. (My fault for not checking measurements). I decided to use it as a hay barrel for my rabbit instead. It isn’t very sturdy, it comes apart easily and you have to keep resnapping it together.

i use these as nest boxes for my rats! makes it super easy to pull out the nest, open up and give a check on the babies! and when i need to transfer them too/from having pictures taken its and easy way to contain them! it also traps the warmth in better it seems! i can feel the warmth of the babies from outside the nest, which is then further insulated by a layer of bedding under it!i only wish it had a couple small ventilation holes closer to the top rather than the sides, the girls tend to build up the bedding around the sides to insulate it. ive been thinkin of trying to drill a couple in myself!

Way too big for a dwarf DJ hamster

This is a fantastic product that I love and my rats love it too! It's sturdy, well constructed, and from a brand I trust and have used for 15 years.The only contrary thing I have to say is that the color is a little different from what is displayed in the description. I have other Savic igloos and expected the lime green color shown on the description would be the same as the lime green of my other ones. In reality, it's a lovely pastel celery green color. I actually love the color more than the bright lime green I expected.I did my best to show the difference in color in the picture - at the top is one of my small Savic igloos in the "regular" lime green color. In the middle is this igloo, and in the foreground is a bright pea green ceramic food dish.

The pink matches the theme of my rat’s cage. It’s easy for a person to take apart and stays together when the rats use it. After a month and a half they did chew up some of the plastic but it’s still very usable.

Top & bottom piece that snap together, smaller than expected. My fat guinea pigs fit though.
