Good size but paper is thin
Decided to try journalling again, but this time with a larger book since i've struggled to commit to journalling when using conventional A5 journals. Opted for the XXL size which is a tad smaller than A4 size. I an very pleased with the size.I am giving this journal 4 stars out of 5 because the paper thickness in the journal is THIN. There is defintely ghosting if using markers or leaky pens. To avoid this, I will be using only ball point pens in the journal, although pressing with a pen does cause texturing in the back side of the paper because the paper is thin. The paper in the journals i've used in the past (from other brands) were all much thicker and smoother than that found in this journal.I would purchase this journal again only because of the size.

One of my favourite journals
Moleskin are such excellent quality journals, it's my first choice when investing in a good quality, lasting journal.I find the pages don't bleed with the right stationary, and when using my gel pens, the paper absorbs the ink well without it spreading like in others I have had where it sort of sits on the paper and then smudges.I get hardly any ghosting through the pages, unless it's through error and I've made a mistake.I have both the large and the extra large, I prefer the hard cover of the large over the softer cover of the extra large, but both journals are a great choice.

Nice simple notebook
Purchased this notebook to write in. It’s nice and sleek and I enjoy that it is not hardback as I find it easier to use. However, I do find that there is a bit of ‘ghosting’ (where you can see the writing faintly on the other side of the page).

Great notebook but not A4!!!
I've been using and loving Moleskine notebooks for years, they are great quality notebooks! This particular advert states A4 but has the dimensions of the XL which is much smaller than A4. The first one I ordered this year was the proper A4, but the second was the smaller version, I sent it back and a new smaller version was sent out... I'm not happy as it does state A4 and I didn't think I needed to get a ruler out to start checking measurements, but obviously that is the case now. As much as I love them they are very expensive for what they are so only 3* for value for money but will probably be looking at alternatives now I know I'm paying even more for the A4 size...

Bleed-through
I have purchased this notebook 7 times and have been generally happy with it, but there have been 2 instances where the paper has bled through when using a 0.5 Pilot pen. It's frustrating because it ruins the look of the page and makes it difficult to read the notes. Otherwise, the notebook is good quality with sturdy binding and a nice cover. But the bleeding issue is a deal breaker for me and I will have to find a different notebook for my writing needs.

Not the same paper as my previous Moleskine notebooks
I have been using Moleskine notebooks for many years for work and loved the smooth paper than made writing a very pleasant experience. I was hugely disappointed to find out that the paper on my recent purchase is completely different. It feels quite rough and writing has become a bit of a chore. Gone is the smoothness, even some cheaper notebook that I use for language learning seem to be of a higher quality. Thumbs down to Moleskine to have lowered their quality whilst still charging a lot of money for it!

I use these for all work notes...
I keep a new one ready for when the one I'm using is finished... I have a stack of old moleskins... All at, all graph paper... I can look back on years of notes!
