Found these better than stock, smooth quiet with great stopping power. Great price to as you can replace both sets of pads twice with this package. Highly recommended. Used on Magura MT7 brakes

No where near as grippy as the magura 8.r but they are £25 a set and i got these as I needed them swiftBrilliant stop gap and great for that price

These were the only way of getting the brake pad retaining pins without spending ridiculous money on 2 screws.I’ve ended up with very good looking brake pads, and the pins, plus spares for a little bit more than just the pins on a specialist website.You can literally buy anything on Amazon.

Tried 3 sets and every one has glazed the rotor. They do work but with the glazing it makes a horrendous screeching. I've scuffed everything up with sand paper and seems ok for a bit, then it all gets glazed again and the noise returns

First what suprise me it was packaging, one big cardbord box with 4 smaller cardbord boxes, each of them good quality, with description and pictures. Iside any of small boxes there are 2 pair of very good quality brakepads and 2 pins which is set of brakepads for 2 brakes with 2 pistons or 1 brake 4 pistons. Any of this small boxes are secured from the inside by special foam which is protecting brakepads from any damage. Brakepads are made very precise, they perfectly fit to my Magura mt5 brakes, and the power of braking is impresive. Looks like I get 4 premium products in extremaly low price, brakepads which I used to buy before cost me £12 for a pair and I need 4 pairs for my brakes, so it was £48 together. This set includes 8 pairs of brakepads which are worth £96, but cost me around £25, so I save £71. Highly recomended

These individual pads are much easier to fit and are quieter when braking.

These sommet magura 4 pot brake pads are fantastic I haven't even had to bed them in , just swapped my rear 2 pot out for a 4 pot and slapped them in and straight away they'll lock the front and back straight up , £18.50 for 4 sets of 4 pads (16) and 4 sets of 2 (8) retaining pins

Ces plaquettes fonctionne super bien contrairement au prix attention les plaquettes sont compatibles qu'avec des disques hope ou SRAM sinon le freinage sera très bruyant et pas très efficace

Ho già provato la versione per gli Sram DB8 e mi sono trovato bene, così ho ripetuto volentieri l'esperienza con i Magura e direi che le aspettative sono assolutamente confermate. Si tratta di pastiglie "oneste" dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non eccellono in nulla di particolare (a parte il prezzo) ma fanno perfettamente il loro lavoro e non hanno problemi ne di surriscaldamento ne di potenza (anche perché gli mt7 frenano poco o fanno rumore solo se regolati veramente male ). Ok, durano meno di quelle originali ma costano anche un quarto e quindi più che consigliate!

Have used Sommet brake pads in Magura quad piston calipers a lot, and they work fine. As Magure caliper has magnets to hold pads in place during installation pads tend to collect ferrous dust. Clean pads and rotors often for best wear. Most third party pads are thicker than Magura OEM pads. Some brake bleed may be needed for installation. Heavy ebike will go through pads. Expensive consumables are not good for ebike budget. including pads ,chain, and rear gear cluster. Buy these parts in bulk.
