Extra Virgin Olive Oil PDO Terra di Bari is produced by cold extraction only with the olives hand-picked in the olive groves situated north of Bari. It is made mainly with Coratina olives  (80%) but also with other varieties of the area. An independent certification organism guarantees its origin, typicality and quality and the respect of strict specifications. Fragrance: We perceive a medium-intense fruity smell. Taste: By tasting it, we perceive a medium-intense fruity taste with a perfect balance between the bitter and spicy. Awards: Year 2014: Montiferru "Premio Frantoiani DOP", Los Angeles Awards "Gold Medal", Merum Italiens beste "Olivenole". Other awards obtained in the previous years. Culinary use: Advised as a dressing on vegetables (cooked and raw), legumes, soups, excellent on "bruschette" (toasted bread) or grilled meats.
