Bought this blender primarily for making smoothies and for the vacuum feature. I love it.
I have a couple of the Ninja blenders and a Vitamix that I seldom use at this point in time. My primary purpose for this blender was to make smoothies in quantity that would be good for a couple of days. Previous to buying this blender I was using one of the Ninja blenders that did a great job of incorporating anything I put in it into a smooth drink. This included frozen fruits, fresh veggies and even seeds. This blender pulverized even raspberry and blackberry seeds. When I made large quantities of smoothies, they tasted great the first day and were a good consistency, but by the second day, the smoothies had thickened and the color changed to be not quite as bright as the first day. The smoothies tasted OK, but I had to add water to make them drinkable. The idea that vacuum sealing would prevent oxidation, discoloration, and preserve vitamin content intrigued me. Initially, I bought another brand that failed and was returned. I decided to try the NuWave Moxie Vacuum Blender since my experience with NuWave products has always been positive.I am so glad I decided to try the NuWave Moxie Vacuum Blender since it will vacuum the large container to store smoothies for the next day. I did initially have a problem with vacuuming the large container, but after calling NuWave, they sent a replacement vacuum cover. As for making smoothies in bulk, I have found the NuWave Moxie will make smoothies with frozen fruit and requires much less water for the blending. Everything blends just as well as the Ninja blenders I had used previously and even small seeds from raspberries and blackberries are not detectable. The big difference is that the large container can be vacuumed and kept in the frig until the next day to prevent the smoothie from oxidizing. The smoothies taste as fresh as they did the first day I made them.As for the blending, chopping, etc. capabilities, it depends on what results you are looking for in the job you are doing. The NuWave Moxie has a single blade at the bottom of the blending container that does a good job if you want to "blend" foods. If you want to chop, the foods will be pulled down, but anything at the bottom will almost be juiced and food at the top will have larger pieces, Because of this, this is not an appliance I would choose for chopping foods. Some of the Ninja food processors have two sets of blades so that foods in the upper and lower portions of the container are more evenly chopped. Unfortunately, I have not found one food processing appliance that excels at all jobs no matter what the cost of the appliance.I have had the NuWave Moxie Vacuum Blender for about a year, and it has earned a permanent place on my counter. I use it often for making smoothies, and it handles everything I put into it. I do tend to use it more for blending jobs than chopping as I have other appliances that do a better job of chopping.UPDATE 8/19/21:I have had this blender for a little over a year, and noticed the text on some of the buttons were disappearing. I called NuWave support, and to my surprise, they replaced the base unit after I sent them a picture of the buttons. Although I have a few different blenders, this is the one I use for smoothies or anything I want to blend to a smooth consistency. I make tomato soup from homegrown cherry tomatoes. After the tomatoes and other ingredients are roasted and cooked in a pressure cooker, I use this blender to blend everything into a smooth, creamy soup. I really love this blender, and would definitely replace it if it ever breaks.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update my review if my opinion changes.

Awesome Blender
I've always wanted a powerful blender! A few years ago bought the ninja blender and was very disappointed with its capabilities! I recently purchased the nu wave blender and am extremely happy with it! My daughter is diabetic and I'm pre diabetic.. we've started making healthy smoothies in this blender also alot of green juices which by the way, can be very tasty! It blends ice beautifully, along with frozen fruits ,ect... ill put in chopped raw carrots, celery, spinach, cucumber and apple,it liquefied it all in 30 seconds! The first day I recieved the blender I dropped the pitcher on my hardwood floor, and was sure it would be cracked, but to my surprise it was fine! It's very well made, and looks awesome in my kitchen,I really love it!

Blender broke 33 days in with normal use
The locking nut that holds the blade broke 33 days into use and now we are trying to get a replacement. Amazon will not help.

Good vacuum blender but expensive.
I used this blender to blend green leaf vegetables and apples. It's loud similar to a Ninja blender, but it seems normal for this blender power rating. Blending for too long will heat up the smoothie, but not long enough and there will be a few small leaf pieces. I normally blend for 45 seconds using the combo setting. This is the best vacuum blender that I have used so far but it is more expensive than the other ones that I have used.

🌪 Best Blender I have ever used!
👽 I have no complaints about this blender at all. Better than Vitamix blenders and HALF THE PRICE. Nothing matches Vacuum Seal blending, and vacuum seal storage which is why I highly recommend vacuum seal storage containers. You get better flavor, and better nutrient value with a vacuum seal blender. With this particular blender, the nuwave company provides a 5 year warranty, comparable to Vitamix, it's a well made blender. This blender has nice aesthetics.

Great machine but do not last at all! Got 2 and both broke in a year :(
This machine it is really good. I use it 4 times a day, every single day. BUT....B-U-T - it do not last. I purchased one, 2 years ago. It was toasted in one year. Motor failed. Company did not help AT ALL. It was completely waste of a whole 6 months time trying to get my rights to have a new machine or at least the motor fixed. NOTHING. Unfortunately, i need the vacuum trait of it, so i had to buy a NEW one. And, just now. Today. The motor did it AGAIN. It is toasted. Just didn't blend the most easy juice. Come out a rubber-burned-like smell from it. Same thing. S-A-M-E T-H-I-N-G. I CAN NOT EVEN BELIEVE IT. Completely waste. Now i would have to face AGAIN the completely exhausting communication with this awful company that do not give you any rights and take all your time, (and money i should say!) and do not give any help at all not even to fix your blender. Sincerely, what a waste. The machine is great, but it do not last and my patience to deal with companies like that do not last either.

Powerful
Powerful enough to make flour out of Ritz crackers when we forgot the flour. LOLDon't love the lid because it is hard to get on and off. Wish they would design like the Ninja with the clicking lid. Much more powerful than my Ninja. Kept having to replace breaking parts with my Ninja. Fingers crossed on this one. It was expensive so hopefully it won't break....
