I am not a religious person but I am now a godmother and insisted on getting my beautiful sweet little godson a christening outfit. These shoes were a hit. Of course he was adorbs in his little outfit but the shoes were instrumental in bringing the whole look together. They are nice little baby shoes although they aren't traditional shoes. They are soft and thin like socks but do have functioning laces like a shoe would have. I was able to get these shoes pretty cheap with a discount but his parents thought they were 20 dollar shoes so they are a good deal.The word boy just happens to be in the title so I assumed these shoes to be for little boys only but they are unisex. They would go great on any gender infant not to mention they come in bigger sizes. My godson was 6 pounds and 10 ounces 18 inches long when he was born and he fit into the 0-3 month shoe just fine at his christening when he was 6 weeks old. I don't know if they have had him wear the shoes again because they said they were keeping the outfit for baby number 2 but I wouldn't call these everyday shoes.They are very dressy and white. I know babies to be pretty messy and these white satin shoes don't appear to be ones that can survive daily washing without sustaining some kind damage. I could see the seams coming apart or the color becoming dingy after too much abuse but other than that completely satisfied. Would buy again if I have another little person.
