Proline 888-221RP Waste Cap & Washer

I found this was what I needed to turn my outside water off. .

I gave these a try since the description says "Fits most drainable valves"But I have a ProFlo PFXR858PF ball and waste valve which needs product number PFXRCAP.Luckily I was able to return them for a refund.

One of the 3 connectors and washers fit and stopped the leak. The local plumbing supplier wanted me to buy a new valve just to get the part I needed (a small washer with no hole)

We were desperate to replace leaking caps so bought them on faith. No good. No size means you’re buying blind. Go to a good hardware store w your old cap and pray. Our small town stores didn’t have the right size and would not order.

I love this kit! I had no idea what size I needed, so I purchased this. It's much easier to replace a missing cap than replace the entire valve.

Received the 3 sizes as described. Good price, and they seem to be of good quality. They just don't happen to fit the fitting on my shut-off valve. And since this is the only place where I would ever need a cap such as this, I now have 3 backup sizes of caps that I will never use. But I cannot slight the product, the seller, or Amazon. I will continue to look for the original (that went flying), and if not found, will just have to replace the valve (I'm sure the cap will show up then :-).

Was exactly what it, I made the mistake and bought the wrong sizes but this item came on time and was a good description
