Sevin Ready-to-Use 5 Percentage Dust, 3 Pack, 1 LB Each

I mostly use this product during the hot summer months because it is a great deterrent for fleas, roaches, and mice at the same time. I spread it all around my yard and it works great!! Just be careful to not let your pets eat this stuff or lick it. It's very poisonous.

Isn't Amazon great? My handicapped husband mentions that he needs to get dressed, get out the wheel chair, drive to Home Depot and get 7 Dust. I go to the computer and order this, come back and tell him it will be here in 2-3 days. No rush... The price is great especially when you factor in the time to go, the gas it will take you to hunt this down. Wonderful stuff too. Been using this stuff for as long as I can remember and I can remember a long time as I'm 68 (almost). We have four new fruit trees we hired a nursery to install and this protects our investment, as well as is useable on many other plants in our garden and yard. Will continue to order. BTW all the Amazon boxes are cut up and used as filler in the garden or held until someone we know is moving...second life.

I want to start my review by first pointing out what had led to me buying it. It all began when this Summer of 2019; fleas began to multiply. (I have two miniature dachshunds) I couldn't help but notice that they were itching more than usual. Eventually, it got to the point where I was waking up with 1-2 flea bites every morning (My doctor stated I have "sweet blood" and easily attract bugs that like blood). My legs started to look like they were some form of virus, and the flea bites continued.I looked into trying those dog collars and the Advantix formulas to help with the flea control (mind you, these products cost a LOT more and I paid top dollar thinking I would get what I paid for). The dog collars did not help at all, I continued to wake each morning with even more flea bites as the Summer progressed. This is when I came across this product. I was skeptic at first, seeing that it was cheap, but I ran it through the FakeSpot website and it had a "A" rating on the reviews. I decided that $12 wasn't too bad and so I tried the leap of faith on this product.It's been one week since I've used this product. I spread out a bit of powder in my dog's house and their beds. I also spread some across the outside (on the plants and dirt) where they tend to go rest or play. Ever since I placed this powder, I have not woken to a single flea bite since. My skin is still healing from previous flea bites, but this product did exactly as described! My dogs are no longer itching every 5 seconds, they are also looking a lot happier. (I am assuming their bites have been reduced to nothing). I didn't even need to use an entire bottle, I have several more of the product remaining. I am very happy and grateful for this product as it dealt with my flea problem the exact same day that I placed it. Thank you for helping me out, no more flea bites for me!

The media could not be loaded. Used this before. Works great. Bugs need to get it on them or there feet to take back to nest. That being said. I had a problem with bees behind a brick chimney 16 feet off ground. Tried liquid Sevin and didn’t work. ( a ladder was not a option with bees) So made a air cannon out of PVC pipe a air compressor and some electrical tape . (See video) load 1/2 cup Sevin in end of pipe with funnel like a mussel loader gun. Blasted Sevin behind chimney and you could see the dust coming out from behind chimney 8’ up. Ended my bee problem after 2 years of fighting them.

Walking in my front yard was like walking in shallow water. With each step a wave of white flies would ripple away in front of me. I'm talking thick waves. Enter Seven. The directions say it's best to use the product after watering so I gave the front yard a quick hand water job and then walked through the ripples of flies lightly sprinkling the powder. I used up two of my three cans of Seven that afternoon even with the light sprinkling. The next morning I opened my front door and stepped out into the yard. No waves. No ripples. No flies. That one application of Seven apparently wiped out tens of thousands of white flies in less than a day. If it didn't kill them then it at least forced them to move on to my neighbors lawn. Good luck buddy.If I had any complaint it would be that each of these containers is only half full of powder. Based on weight, I'd guess the correct amount of product is in the cans, but the size of the can is misleading. That said, I'm sold on the product and will be buying more. I'll be trying it on my next corn crop out in my vegetable garden to see if it will keep parasites from invading and ruining my cobs.

I assume this product works well. It is easy to apply. As they clearly say 3 - 1lb containers apparently you cannot comment to others that the containers are only half full. I think you should be aware that they are selling the product in a tall container which I think they have always had, it is actually only half full. My comment saying the same thing, was blocked, but will see if after being re-written is blocked again.

Since I received this, I was informed by a certified environmental specialist, this is normally sold to commercial companies, and it is extremely poisonous, rubber gloves and a high end protective face mask & proper eye protection needs to be worn.Yikes......never knew any when purchased. Haven’t used ....quite nervous...therefore. No star rating.
