Perfect for Garage Door Insulation
I have a 70 year old discontinued garage door (solid door type, doesn't fold up) that needed insulation. It acted as a radiator for the garage and was incredibly hot to the touch (139º F vs. 75ºF in the back of the garage). Once I installed this insulation, the heat is just above the ambient temperature in the garage (81ºF vs. 75ºF in the back of the garage). These were tested on back to back days with the same weather. This product works much better than the basic boxed garage door insulation kits. This fits any door size/style/type and is easy to install.Process:1. Roll it out on the floor2. Measure the size you need based on the inside of the garage door (for example, I needed 32"x84" for the middle bays)3. Cut it using a box cutter or scissors. I suggest using a yard stick for a clean straight line.4. Slide/push it into place on the door (see the photos)5. Repeat for each sectionOne of the big things to note is the R-Value of this product. For the "5", it's about R-21 while boxed insulation kits have an R-Value of R-8. The R-Value is how insulating it is (how good of a job does it do in insulating).

It works!
Added this to every window in our 36 ft RV. Dropped ambient temperature from 106⁰ to 94⁰ in coach while sitting in Florida sun. IMPRESSIVE!

Thin and light with an adequate R value.
So light, thin, and easy to install. We just installed it to get insulate a well pump for winter. Feeling pretty confident that it will do the job well.
