I love matcha, but making it the traditional way in the cup is messy – or at least it is when I do it – and you've got to use up the tin fairly quickly to keep the powder fresh. These capsules solve both problems. The matcha stays fresh until you make a cup, and there's no mess, although I'd recommend flushing your Nespresso machine right away by discharging hot water until it runs clear. (I've found that takes two lungo cups.)The capsule compromise is that not as much matcha ends up in the cup, as you can see from the lack of the usual thick sediment at the bottom. I don't mind because the flavour is still excellent, and it saves me having to keep stirring a matcha latte to keep the solids from settling. I'd never seen matcha capsules before these, so I bought a 10-pack to test them. The results were so good that I bought a 20-capsule pack as soon as I tried the first cup, and I'm drinking matcha more often now simply because it's so convenient to make.

I've struggled to make and find good matcha but have a pod machine. Found these by accident. The flavour is easily good enough to drink neat brewed out of a std nespresso machine. Agree with premium grading on flavour and comes out bright green with nice foam head in less than a minute. I draw a lungo plus a small amount for each neat tea into a glass lungo cup (filling to brim) during the day. Due to ease of Brew this has now replaced my daily coffees and resulted in improved work productivity due to the mental clarity matcha provides. Every morning I also make a chillatte = lungo draw on 1 or 2 pods + Nespresso aeroccino milk foamer max load + 2 teaspoons of honey + big reusable coffee cup = matcha heaven. After that the drive to work doesn't seem to bother me anymore. Also ZERO mess, if you used the powder you know what I mean. Quite expensive per pod compared to coffee but worth it imho.

The matcha pods work great with my nespresso lattissima touch and makes a nice frothy cup of matcha latte. Matcha flavour tastes great though personally I prefer stronger matcha taste hence the 4 star flavour rating. Otherwise these are great if you want to have matcha latte at the press of one bottom.Be sure to do a clean afterwards before your next drink to remove the residual matcha.

I have had green tea before, but not Matcha tea. I found the taste very earthy & prefer it in some hot frothy milk to make it more of a Matcha Latte. I enjoyed it, not enough to re-order at the current price.

Great idea, the flavour is there, although the turmeric overpowers the matcha. I got this for it’s proposed health benefits. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but will give it another try.

I am, by any standards, a fairly serious green tea drinker (if there is such a thing!). I tend to buy loose green tea from Jing, and brew it in a beautiful iron tetsubin before savouring slowly. I know my gunpowder from my dragonwell, and while it's not something I'd admit at parties, it's just about my favourite drink.When my wife unpacked her new nespresso machine, I was curious to see if there was anything I might like to use it for (the kids like the hot chocolate pods) and came across these matcha pods. I was a little bit skeptical, associating matcha with the faff of whisking powder, and while I enjoy it, never feeling like I make it quite right.These pods are a revelation. A large size serving from the nespresso machine delivers a beautiful, steaming hot cup of beautifully, earthy-tasting matcha. No fuss but tastes great. Even better, I've then discovered the matcha latte - make a large and then a small matcha (from the same pod) and add a slug of hot frothy milk - delicious. I've already re-ordered twice, as these pods have become a regular feature of my green tea drinking. Highly recommended.

These pods are fast and convenient to use. The Cacao adds an enjoyable mild chocolate flavour to the authentic taste of Matcha Green Tea for a healthy shot of antioxidants. The pods work just fine in my Nespresso Expert machine to deliver a measured shot and make sure you shake the pod first. I didn't do this with the first pod I tried and it produced a watery version. Shaking produces a slightly frothy full-flavored shot as intended, so it is important to get the best out of these pods.

I was excited when I saw the compostable feature. But why send 2 packages with plastic filming? And the quality of matcha is not that good. The colour is not bright and the taste is a bit sad. I hope there will be an improvement in the future.

Alors déjà pour un goût non diluer ces une taille expresso donc pas grand chose à boire .Ensuite le goût matcha chocolate on le trouve bien mais l’amertume est juste horrible trop fort en bouche obliger de mélanger avec du lait pour faire passer un peux cette amertume .Produit bien trop cher pour ce que c’est

The tea has a very fishy smell and its taste is not appealing.

The tea is OK, not really strong enough for Matcha, but drinkable. The real issue I have is their claim of being “COMPOSTABLE”. The actual pod may be compostable, but the foil top is NOT and difficult to remove!!! My recycler will not not take these pods, and I cannot compost them with the foil/aluminum. These pods just end up in the trash. Shame on Rokit!I really do not trust a company that tries to motivate you to buy based upon a false ecological statement. Do not buy.

Great Matcha from Nespresso type pod. I Love it! Great flavor and convenient.

This kind of capsules was not compostable well with Nespresso Coffee Machine!
