Save The Honey Bees and Save Our Food Supply We support the honey bees and donate a percentage of sales to aid the preservation and protection the feral honey bee by rescuing and relocating endangered hives, and by educating the public about the bees’ value, and our partnership with nature. Many of the country’s crops would not exist without the honey bee at bloom time. Crop yield and quality would significantly abate without honey bee pollination. Each year American farmers and growers continue to feed more people using less land. They produce an abundance of food that is nutritious and safe. Honey bees are very much a part of this modern agricultural success story. It’s estimated that there are about 2.4 million colonies in the U.S. today, two-thirds of which travel the country each year pollinating crops and producing honey and beeswax. I'm all for saving the bees, but this cedar is not a great stand-alone fragrance
Living in rural Texas, surrounded by corn and cotton fields where the crop dusters and county road maintenance don't seem to give a hoot about how they spray pesticides, herbicides and drying agents, or where it all goes on windy days, I am very concerned about the plight of the honey bee. The ramifications are extremely serious. So, I can appreciate the use of beeswax in these melts. And, they do last longer than the soy wax melts.I did not really appreciate the stand-alone cedar fragrance. It is not a bad fragrance, but I got tired of it quickly. A mix of wood fragrances could have made a more interesting aroma. Gentle Bees does make other forest tree fragrances, but they are all sold separately. That makes for quite an investment--just to experiment, as there are no instructions or combination suggestions on the label.

Nice fragrance, just wish it was stronger
These wax fragrance cubes have a light cedar scent. It is very mild, to the point it is difficult to distinguish until they are melted in a warmer. I wish they had a bit more fragrance.

Like a Woodsy Incense
This review is for the cedar scented version of this product. It is touted as helping to clean the air, unfortunately, my asthmatic spouse was not able to tolerate the scent. I believe that had I been trying the unscented version, that is, the pure beeswax, that might not have been an issue. The scent that it emitted was of the woodsy and incense type. I myself found it to be wonderfully fragrant in the most pleasing of ways. The little blocks are easy to remove from the reclosable container. I simply used a butter knife to pry a cube out after separating it from the others. One small concern is the misspellings on the label, which usually means that our product is not sourced in the United States. Unfortunately, many products that are stamped as being made in the USA, are not. Just like that Prada handbag that you found for $25 might not actually be Prada made in France. Because I don't know for certain, other than this product being stamped as being made and sourced in the UnitedStates, the above does not affect my rating for this product. As far as price, Beeswax is very expensive. These cubes have all the qualities of good beeswax, the color, the consistency.

Sorry! not a fan
I am not a fan. I have an electric burner and the wax melted in about 5 min and just went I was ready to be blown away I smelt wood, the cheap industrial kind, not the pleasant, aromatherapy scent I was hoping for. Sad story for me but this didn’t smell anything like fresh cedar wood but it smelt more like the lumbar section in a home improvement store (this is the best way I would describe it) . The wax was also hard to remove once you burn it so now my burner is stuck with a few pieces and it looks ugly. May be you are someone that likes this scent but that I just wanted you to be aware of what the scent really is. It simply didn’t work out for me and for this reason I’m giving this 2 stars. I wouldn’t recommend this product also. Sorry!

a very subtle fragrance
I like this product, because it melted really easily, but I really couldn't smell the cedar very well. I have no idea if the other benefits were actually happening (changing the ions, etc) but it was a nice wax. I don't mind the cedar being low-fragrance, really, since cedar can sometimes aggravate my sinuses, but I think any other fragrance might need to be a bit stronger.
