The girl friend used this for our Glacier and Banff hiking trip this past week. It worked great, standard bladder, the cons of this bladder are the hose doesn't have a quick disconnect, it's a screw on. Also you have to have the hose connected when storing the bag in the fridge/cooler. Unlike other bags that have a quick connect with a valve that prevents water from leaking out of the bag when the hose is not connected. This is annoying in particular because the hose can take up room and is a nuisance. Finally I wish this bladder had a sliding opening on the top, this would make it much easier to clean and maintain. Overall, the bladder kept her water cold, got the job done, and is made out of quality material. If the cons can be a addressed this bag would be great!

Great look on this water bladder. Affordable price. Durable. I just wish there was a cap over the tip though, since I consider using it for hiking, and it sucks that I got to wipe it clean every time I throw my backpack on the ground. it did take a lot of wash before the taste of rubber got out from the bladder though. It was easy to use.. but I didn't like how sometimes it was hard to twist the tubes to the bladder, or the top cover to the bladder, because if you didn't twist it right.. it will leak. But all and all, it work great, and it did it's purpose and the black gives it a nice look. It is also very light, which is great. it didn't keep my water that cold though..

My trusty Camel bak finally met it's end and started leaking so I was looking around for replacements, I had the option of spending over $80 for a new backpack and bladder or just replace the bladder in my current pack, in which this product was essentially identical, except the insulation right off the bat is a nice touch. So far so good! I 'hose' seems longer and the product appears to be durable and leak free, so hopefully it lasts as long as the original! Glad I spent the $15 on this instead of a brand new pack, would recommend.

Bought this bladder September of 2016.The good: Wide mouth is really convenient for filling - especially from a small spout source. Easy to add ice that wouldn't normally fit in the mouth of a bladder that had a mouth the size of a water bottle.The not-so-sure: The foam insulation around the tube sounded good in theory. I'm not sure how much it helped. I'd still get warmer water on my first couple of draws.The bad: I used mine less than a dozen trips (mostly hikes and a couple multi-day backpacking trips). This morning I noticed water seepage around the neck of the bladder. Probably still usable for short trips, but it got the bottom of my daypack wet. Not sure how easy it would be for me to fix. If I don't try to fix it, its life span for me is about 10 months.

I bought this water bladder to replace the old one from my Camelbak. It has worked exceptionally well through some hikes up and down a mountain, while bike riding, and even while running.My favorite thing about this, is the insulation that goes around the hose that leads from the reservoir to the mouth piece. It kept the water in the hose cold!Least favorite thing is that if you don't get the o-ring that goes where the hose meets the reservoir in just the right spot, this connection will leak. It took a couple tries before I figured out the "sweet spot" for this o-ring. I haven't had any problems with leaking since this. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.Overall, It has been working great and I'm satisfied with this product.

This is a nice insulated bladder! I have taken it backcountry skiing in Colorado several times, in temperatures in the teens, and I have still been able to drink water from it. Sometimes the hose gets a tiny bit frozen, but if you continue to try to drink out of it, the ice will dislodge and loosen and you can get the water. It holds a huge amount of water, enough for a full day of hiking.I also like that it came with so many cleaning tools, as my old bladder had to be thrown away due to funky taste and smell.

Bought this for a backpacking trip. Arrived yesterday. I really like the mouth piece and the on/off switch. This is a great feature. Unfortunately I purchased this for use with a SteriPen and SteriPen Pre-Filter which fits onto standard "wide-mouth" bottles, like Nalgene bottles. Being that this bladder stated it had a wide-mouth I assumed it would be the same. The opening in the bladder is much wider than a standard Nalgene bottle. Not necessarily a bad thing but something that people may want to keep in mind. Overall, pretty happy with my initial impressions.

So I really liked this product until it broke. I've only used it 6 times and on the 6th time, a small crack in the bag caused it to leak all over my bag and all the stuff in my bag got soaked. I'm giving it a 2 star because though it broke, I did like the design until the hole happened. Makes me sad.
