This product is really easy to install if you have any experience in opening up electronics. It takes roughly 10-15 minutes to get in, and then it just works. It restores battery life back to normal and renewed my laptop. After a good amount of use, I have found that these generic ones don’t quite last as long as OEM, but given the price difference, I would always go with generic. The difference is very minor and completely acceptable

The battery I received is not 56Wh, it's 48Wh which means it lasts ~15% less. I might return it for the false title and photos where it says 56Wh but otherwise, the battery is in good conditions. Check the photo.Also, since the battery specs seem false (because of what I said earlier), maybe the battery will not deliver enough power for the laptop's CPU and GPU to run at full speed. If you notice a slow laptop or lower CPU clock speed then probably the seller is lying over the battery specs. I will update this comment if that is the case.

I found this replacement battery to be a lifesaver. The bottom of my Dell xps 15 trackpad had begun to lift, and the trackpad wasn't fully functional (thank goodness for bluetooth keyboards). This was my first time ever replacing a laptop battery and I was a bit nervous. After watching a youtube video to learn how, and then reading the instructions provided by Ouside I felt I could handle it. I replaced it per instructions and my computer works perfectly again, including the trackpad, which is no longer popped up. The $50 price is totally reasonable for this replacement. Highly recommend.

My son's Dell XPS 15 was experiencing performance issues from the swollen battery. We completely missed the recall. I ordered this battery because his laptop has both a hard drive and SSD. He already had tools. This battery also comes with tools that would work on the Dell screws. Replacement was quick. The battery is slim. Looks like the original without any Dell logos. The computer recognized the battery without error and it appears to charge. He said the laptop performance is better, and the keyboard and mouse pad are back in place and working normally. We don't know yet how long the battery will last because he's only had it a short time. Also, he only uses the battery on occasion - the laptop power cord is usually plugged in.

I started discharging at 7:30am and it's 8:30pm. The battery still has 19% power left. I started my other OEM Dell battery (hardly used) one hour later, and it was depleted at 8:30pm already. It goes down quickly at 100% and started to slow down around 70%, and goes down very slowly after that; from then on, it gives you a feeling of refusing to die. I was hoping it would drain quickly so I could start recharging, but to my surprise, it held on for 13 hours and still has life left. I think this is a strong battery which has outperformed my OEM battery. I would be happy if it can last 6 hours, and it has certainly exceeded my expectations.

The battery appears brand new and professionally made, but the performance isn't that great out of the box. It holds charge pretty well, until it gets down to about 30%, when the battery simply drops abruptly, often shutting down the computer without a warring. $20 asking price would be OK, but certainly not worth $57.I am also unimpressed with the shipping policy. Overall, it was a poor buying decision on my part.

My laptop is running again! My battery had expanded and raised my mouse pad. So glad I discovered what the problem was and found a replacement. Easy to install myself. So far the battery life seems good. Did a FB video call for an hour unplugged, no problem.

The battery was just as advertised. It fit perfectly into our Dell Precision 5510 laptops. Beware though as these are the smaller batteries and the later laptops we have, do not have the extra hard disk slot in them and instead have the batteries that go completely across the laptop under the mouse pad, we have not had the same problem with those as of yet. If your mouse pad is starting to push up and your laptop is out of warranty, then this is a replacement part you need as the battery is starting to bulge and could be a fire hazard. The tools were also a nice touch and made the disassembly and assembly easier if you did not already have these items.
