As an actor and teacher, I love the work of Michael Chekhov. Hearing him personally describe his approach in his own words made so many things clear to me that were not immediately clear in his books. What a treasure for anyone wanting to hear it straight from the man himself! Highly recommended for any library or interested student.

This is a wonderful audio book which is a must for anyone interested in Drama and the actor's art.It was recorded in California in 1955 - the year Michael Chekhov died. The listener has expounded for him/her - in Chekhovs own warm and inimitable tones - the secrets of acting. Chekovs approach is comprehensive - physical , psychological and spiritual.Just to listen is enriching.
