An advantage is the wire connection to the unit because charging is ecenntually wireless the correct wire connection is not a concern be it USB II, USB III, or USB B Or C because the power wire that comes the unit is not concerned with the wire connection to your phone.

Surprisingly good. The dash vent mount system is very secure and well built. The design is subtle and tasteful. So far, the automatic clamping system seems robust enough to last but I've only had it for about 2 months so time will tell the true story. Charging performance seems fine though I guess I was expecting a little more. That said, the charger is battling the battery usage of the mounted phone running Android auto with screen and GPS both on.

I drive for a living and needed a sturdy phone mount for my vehicle. This product is great for the price. It's sturdy and seems well built. The charger part can be a little wonky sometimes, requiring you to unplug it for a bit then plug it back in. This issue is indicated but the the flashing blue/red alternating light. Minor issue though and not that big of a deal. I like that it is wireless charging for the phone. Not as fast as I would have liked but still adequate. My only real issue with this product is the suction cup. I have had this phone charger for less than six months. Everything was just fine until I moved two months ago. Now my car sits in the Florida sun during the day (I work at night). The suction cup actually melted and now it won't hold to the windshield at all. See pictures attached.

Pretty standard car mount. Only complaint is that it’s not possible to lock the pivot joint for the phone so the bottom of the phone always tilts in and landscape view doesn’t really work out.

i am happy to replaced our old cat charger with this new one. Much easier to put cellphone on the off, and i am surprised to find it has many considerable functions: 1) after your car is power off, the charger will still have a little bit power to enable release the cellphone, so i don’t need to worry that i forget to take cellphone off if the car is no power; 2) during the night, i found the charger has a lit tile red background light, that easy enough for my to touch the sensor on the back.

I've used this for about 2 months now. Already need to be replaced. I wanted this holder to work better than it does. I ended up cutting out some of the locking collar to get a better angle on my phone so it doesn't fall out when the holders opens. The locking sides are pretty good although they tend to close when there is no phone to hold and seem to take a long time to recognize my phone is in place waiting to be held in. Fast charging so long as the case is off my phone. Best part is not needing to plug and unplug my phone charger everytime I get in or out of the car. Plus, it's pretty flexible and can adjust to a lot of different base angles. Suction has failed when it gets extremely hot in the sun but it just took a second to reattach and lock back into place. The tighteners for adjusting arm able and length do not stay tight so the arm drops until it tests on the dashboard. After tightening several times the nut simply spins in place.I wish this were as good as it should be. It's not.

I move to a new place where I'm not familiar with the roads around my area. So I bought this to hold my phone in my car as GPS. This device is very convenience as it will automatically open the clip when you put your hand on the sensor, and hold your phone tightly. It is also very easy to take your phone out. The wireless charging works great on my phone , very fast charging. I use on the vent clip or glass, which holds the device tightly and my phone too. Great product. I use it everyday.

I bought this product about 6-8 months ago and I was frankly extremely happy with it. I like it soooo much that I bought 2 more for my family. Then little things started to happening in the last couple of months. My wife would put her phone in the charger and the phone would start to say it is overheating and therefore, it would stop charging. Then we would cover the phone from the sun and still no difference. That is, not until we change to a direct cable charge. Okay, sh%t happens. Right? But then my phone started doing the same thing...and yes we're in Southern California, so 80-90 degree temps are normal and maybe too much sunlight for both the charger and phone. So we moved on...again sh%t happens. Until yesterday and today when ALL 3 of our units started falling off our windshields; we're using the suction cup option to stick the units to the windshield. BUT, I've never seen anything like this... It was like the plastic suction cup were actually melting and turning in to a liquid???? So who do you reach out to address or fix the problem??? No one?? So, how about just ordering a replacement part? If you have tried you know... NOW, you'll pay the price with dealing with a cloud entity. As much as we all shop with Amazon... There's really no free lunch and when things start to go wrong with your purchases you're on your own.So if you are looking for a product that is good for 6-8 months then you might like this product, but if not, move on.
