2 pcs Ninja Gear Black Steel Foot Spikes Claw Shinobi

Had these when I was younger pretty neat to have them again sturdy and well made.

The spikes work very well, but are sometimes hard to get on you shoes and they fall off if you take your foot out of the tree incorrectly.

Once I got these to stay on while I climb these are AMAZING! For those who can't keep them on, here's how I keep them on. I use 4 pairs of shoelaces, two for each foot. I tie one around the top as tight as I can. Then I tie the other around my ankle. It works great! Though you will want some high quality shoelaces, try some paracord.

I was hoping these would help me climb our palm trees to cut the branches, but these slide off and won't poke a hole in the palm tree trunk - not to speak about its poor design and 'Shoe-laces' to tie them to the shoes.And worst of all, I cannot return them, because I don't see the option for return!

Well i bought these because me and my wife are ninja lovers. We got swords etc... and also to see if they really will let me climb a tree. I mean I know this sounds weird, but being in woods a lot, I just thought maybe these will help me get a birds eye view when scouting. I first recieved only the hands part of this order. Still waiting on my feet claws to come in. Ill let you know if they do come in after.Test 1- Well I tried climbing the tree with them, and not as easy as you think. First off the metal that goes around your hand digs into the back of your hand. Ripping my skin off in the attempt to see if I can climb with no mod on them. Well didn't work like I thought. After it scrapes and bruises back of hand it hurts badly.Test 2- had my friend try them with a little difference. We used hand cloths under the metal hand part, to ensure it doesnt cut the back of your hand. Worked well. He climbed tree with no issue. So as long as you have something to protect your hand from the sharp metal hand piece your fine. They work nice.Note- You will cut the back of your hand if you strap and go with them. I advise you to put 2-4 hand clothes to prevent that.Also hand straps are very cheap and weak. They seem to break easy. I mean they havent broken yet so ill write a later review to see if they do. But someone my size which is 185Lbs, climbing a tree with weak straps doesnt make me feel safe, but atleast they havent broke yet *fingers crossed*I give it a 4 star because 5 stars wouldnt let my hand get cut. 4 stars because they didnt realize that the metal that goes around hand digs in your skin and they could prevent this with a simple cheap hand towel inbetween.But i did climb the tree ^__-

great for the grappling hook comb, they are a little big for pre-teens, but when he got new boots, they were perfect, the tie tends to come untied frequently, but the hooks are tough

The spikes are too dull to dig in to anything. They don't fit on any ordinary footwear, and are painful to wear on bare feet. I am extremely disappointed. They look cool and come in a box, so I won't go as low as a 1-star rating, but you definitely shouldn't get them if you have even the slightest bit of doubt.
