The only complaint that I would have, would be that the joints loosen up easily other than that it's great thank you

Pretty cool little device that holds and charges my Droid and husband's iPhone. It's nice to have the charging cords out of the way and our phones haven't fallen yet. We are both using the vent attachment.

I bought this charger for my Audi TT. There is limited areas to put a charger , since the car is small and not a good area to place it out of the way. I have tried many phone holders from, cd slots , suction cups, magnetic plates, cigarette charger holders, and I absolutely hated Vent phone holders.This charger holds perfectly without falling off. I use the ac vent attachment and it locks on and hand tightens easily. I changed my mind quickly when I put it on. Never had a vent phone holder grip tight to the vent like this. The automatic holder/ gripper latches on to your phone when you place it in the holder. It has a wide grip that easily fits my Samsung Note 10 Plus with a case. My wife's iPhone Xs Plus, with a case is a bit tight ,but it fits. The holder releases your phone with a press of the button on the side of the holder, which can be done with one hand. It also does not need to be plugged in for power to place the phone or release it.The charging part, is hard to review for me. It says it has fast charge capabilities, but you need a fast charge cigarette lighter plug(not incl). I didnt know u need a fast cigarette charger plug to get the fast charge. I dont have this, so I cant say if it works or not. My Note 10 + will charge fully in 1hr or less in the house. On the charger, it will say 3+hours to charge. This is ok for me, I dont charge my phone that much especially in the car. Unless I need to, charging wirelessly is great for short trips. If you are needing to charge for long distance traveling, then I would suggest buying a fast charge cigarette charger. In all, I am happy with the wireless charger with automatic holder.

I have used this device for the past 5 days. In general.The suction base came with gel coating which helps greatly to adhering on the coarse dash board; The indicator light changes color when the charger is activated; there is an adjustable foot on the bottom to prevent phone from falling down, the arm can extend about 2 inches; locked by a plastic knob; there is a pair of the release button on each side; press the button will release the button; place the phone to the holder triggers another button to secure the phone.. Over all, it appears a well thought out product with reasonable quality.Nevertheless, there are few minor details that buyer may not aware until receives it:1. The holder can swing about 35 degree from horizontal to a pitch angle.2. The rotation is done by a ball joint, so you can rotate and tilt the phone in one joint. but the joint has very limited range, I would guess it is about 20 degree to any direction from center alignment.3. I would hope there is an additional joint to give more range of angle, for example, my dash is tapering up from windshield to the rear end; as a result, if I want to mount the phone in the position that I could press the camera button to take the scenery while car is moving, due to limited tilting angel, I will always have half the picture covered by the dash.4. I had a couple times place the phone with a angle, that cause the holder jammed and stopped functions. I plied the phone out, forced the side clamps to open, then place the phone on the holder again, it worked fine.I gave it 4 was due to limited range of tilting, and lacking of rotational capability. It would be nice if the device can rotate against the base.

Product worked great initially; however, after a few usages over a period of months the charger stopped charging phones. There is power and the light initially turns purple indicating it is ready to charge but after it is plugged in a few seconds the device light turns red (not flashing) which means connected to the power w/o charging. I've tried to connect several different phones and I've tried plugging this into several different outlets and used different cables with no success, including with and without using a phone case.Upon removing the cases that were used on the same phones before when the charger was working, the light will flash red indicating that there is a foreign object, but there is not even a case on the phone and the charger itself is clean of debris.

You pretty much need to tighten down the air vent mount with a wrench or pliers in order to get it to stay on and you also need to use a wrench or pliers to connect the charging pad to either the suction cup or air vent mount.Trying to rotate the unit 90° is difficult when you have the unit attached securely and seems to cause it to come loose. The design could have been done in a way to make it easier like other units I have used prior to getting this one.In order to use the suction cup mount on the windshield rather than the dash you need to take it apart to turn the telescoping arm around and as it's not designed to be used that way it won't tighten down properly.It claims to be able to handle larger phones in cases but it barely manages to hold my Galaxy S7 in an Otterbox and as I still need to find a way to keep the air vent pointing up as far as possible it will still fall out while driving from time to time.During the daytime it frequently gets too hot to keep charging. I work as a courier overnight so it's less of a problem for me. I do think the A/C from the vent helps to keep it cool but am not sure about how it will perform come winter when the air vent is blowing heat.It does wirelessly fast charge my android which my old unit wouldn't do and I do like that the indicator lights are visible while the phone is mounted as it wasn't on my old Scorsche model.The suction cup is basically useless for me the way my dash is laid out and it won't stay connected to the dash anyway. It only mounts securely to the windshield but the design of the device make it not usable when mounted that way.Overall it maybe 65% meets my expectations and needs.
