A return to form by the most prominent Godzilla composer!
The soundtrack to 1991's Godzilla vs King Ghidorah is a return to form for the composer most identified with the Godzilla series, Akira Ifukube. Apart from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1993), this is one of my favorite soundtracks from the Hensei period of the Godzilla series. With over 40 tracks, this CD includes a number of letimofs for both kaiju, as well as the main characters, with a number of a variations of each theme. Tracks which are particularly nice includes the Introduction (Track 1), as well as the tracks when Godzilla first appears in Hokkaido. Admittedly, much of the music towards the ending (the Shinjuku fight) is not included, but they are, for the most part, just versions of earlier tracks. Also, the track "Get King Ghidorah" (originally created for 1959's Rodan) is included, but interestingly, it is the last track. Toho actually released two versions of Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah's soundtrack in this single CD and a 2-CD set, which is interesting as this CD has much more music. In any case, if you have a chance to pick up this CD, I would whole heartedly recommend it!

how can they forget the most exciting track?
if the writing on the disc was English the missing track would be 'Get King Ghidorah' . It's a good thing I have it on another disc. but having it missing here takes away from the completeness of a soundtrack.
