Kuretake DAW100-7 Calligraphy Set, Water Writing, Hard Brush, Use Water, Can Be Written Many Times, Beautiful Characters, Practice Set

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Something that can easily fit in my bag to take to work an dpractice my writing with without using a ton of paper or having to carry a crazy ton of pens with me. It is a great price at $9; it arrived sooner than what was estimated even. The set comes with a small plastic folder to protect the sheet but also holds the pen so you don't lose it. There's also an instruction manual and the pen works like a fountain pen; it's refillable. For anyone considering some serious study of the written side of the Japanese language this right here is a MUST HAVE.

What you see is what you get. As in the above pictures it's one practice sheet, one instruction booklet (in Japanese), one clear file folder, and one water pen. The sheet has different size squares for practice and that's all you are doing with this set, practice. You can write over and over to practice the characters and by the time you get to the end of the page the top has cleared and is ready to be wrote over again. Anything you write will fade pretty quickly unless you use excessive water. But it's a nice little set to have around just to get some extra practice in without using all of your own paper.

I received this package so quickly that Amazon is still informing me of an estimated delivery date. This really does not disappoint. To be able to practice a character anywhere without a bulky book is so convenient. I can put it in any bag of mine (even this small satchel I have) and not worry about it being damaged because there's a little pouch to put everything you're given in. I'm so happy I went ahead and shelled out the money for this.

I bought this after seeing it on another website and finding it much cheaper here. I tried it today and it works great. It is great for practicing your Japanese alphabets. I wish I found it sooner so I wouldn't have had to waste so much paper. It arrived promptly and was packaged so that the contents were undamaged and not bent at all.

Good idea but the practice tablet is a bit small and the practice brush too hard. The instructions are in Japanese, so worthless. I was able to figure it out from pictures and trial and error.

This is great for when I want to practice kanji and calligraphy without wasting paper. The only downside is sometimes it disappears before I can finish writing the character. Otherwise great

Perhaps this is a fine product, however I rated it poorly because there was (and still is) very little product info listed for this I wasn't sure what I was getting. I purchased it anyway because it was listed as "frequently bought together" with 2 other products I had wanted for the purpose of learning Japanese characters. Once it arrived, it was clear that it would not aid in that endeavor at all because the instructions are in Japanese. This product is just to practice the calligraphy style of writing when you already know the characters, I guess. If there were more information about this product on this page then perhaps people would stop "frequently buying this together" with products for learning the Japanese characters.

Handy practice paper. Takes a while to dry out but if you take time with the strokes it's fine. You get the pen, a filler bulb, the sheeet of practice paper (marked with practice grids and lines) and a booklet. All instructions are in Japanese of course but I guess if you are looking at this you are already at least starting to read the language so you get some practive material thrown in too!It arrived in good time and was well packed so no problems there.

Such a novel idea and great to practice calligraphy/writing without wasting paper! Only negative I can see is I wished it was slightly bigger!

Está excelente para repasar la escritura y no estar gastando tantas hojas. Es básicamente una hojita que debes estar cuidando mucho para que no se maltrate, pero viene con su protector, y aparte en el libro que trae vienen algunos tips para la escritura (está en japonés, pero con las imágenes si estás empezando te puedes dar una idea de a qué se refiere). Me encantó que la tienda A-Style Group me puso una postal con el agradecimiento. El envío tarda de 1 a 2 meses ya que viene desde Japón pero vale la pena (aparte se entienda por la situación actual). Lo compré para un regalo y me compré uno a mi de paso, a mi me encantó. This is great to practice japanese characters. It is a sheet of paper that you have to take good care of it but it comes with it's protective folder, the book that comes with it has some tips (in japanese, but you can get an idea). i love that the A-Style Group sent me a postcard with thanks. The shipping takes about 1 to 2 months to arrive but since it's from Japan, it is worth it (besides the actual state...). これは便利です！！！ペンとかみが好きです.

Me ha gustado mucho el sistema que emplea de agua para poder practicar una y otra vez los silabarios escritos y los kanjis. El vendedor muestra seriedad y profesionalidad en la venta y considero que el producto es de buena calidad para el cometido. He vuelto a repetir el pedido para hacer un regalo a mi pareja.

El artículo esta bastante bien, aunque ya sabía lo que era pero fue una agradable sorpresa, por poner alguna pega mejoraría un poco el bolígrafo (un deposito más grande pues sobra la mitad del pincel) y algo más de punta (por el comienzo de cada trazo). De precio adecuado.
