perfect replacement for what i had

This part is made with clear plastic and that really lets you monitor if it is working properly. My well has hard water and over time(5-7years) the inside of the Air Volume Control gets a build up which causes it to malfunction. That malfunction(In my case) causes the water tank to get waterlogged, thus causing the pump to kick on more often to maintain water pressure, thus causing my electricity bill to increase significantly. This kit come with tubing, fittings, and adapters to get it installed quickly. I was able to just pull the old one off and screw the new one in place using the old fittings. No leaks... Sometimes you get lucky!

To repair a water well pump.

I bought one of these to replace one of those galvanized steel saucer shaped ones. It only lasted 3-4 years before rust caused ball seal to fail. I was quite thrilled to find this all plastic unit that appears to be very well designed and lacking rustable parts. Extremely easy to install. Put the teflon tape on thick, obviously, as the plastic is not one you want to tighten directly to the brass as it will likely crack at some point. Clear design means I can see it working, at least until the iron in the water clouds it over.

This kit is basically out of production, so finding it was a life saver. Paid for expedited shipping but it still took more than a week to arrive.
