Great small controller for tiny lady hands!
I guess all of the negative reviews were made by guys with huge hands, because I have had no issues with this controller. It is small and extremely light weight... perfect for us gals with tiny delicate hands and fingers. I can now utilize the triangle button. I have three controllers and they all have issues with the triangle working, not this MK controller. Finally, Johnny Cage can stop doing nut punches. I just need to learn and master timing with some of his combo moves so to move on to the next training moves. However, with Shang Tsung this controller is a dream!!! I haven't tried the other characters, because Shangy is my personal favorite and I want to master using him. So far the buttons work wonderfully and slip from another easily, but noisy when pressed. LOL Clicking sounds are annoying, but are muffled by the sounds of Shangys' fire balls and "ni xian zai si!" I also like how the button side is coated with a slippery glossy finish while the back of it has a silk matte finish. The matte finish prevents sweaty palms and the controller from slipping out. I also like the extra features such as the share and options buttons, as well as the ability to switch from PS3 to PS4 systems. Very nice! Some people complain about the R1 and L1 being included with the shapes, but I found that more useful than having those buttons on top of the controllers. I can do more with just sliding my thumb over those buttons than having to switch my index fingers over them. Normally I only use one of the R and L buttons, which limits playing. This controller fixed that problem. Thank you so much PDP for making such a useful controller for us ladies.

Nice looking, but not your typical fight pad
4/19/15 updateAfter putting maybe about 15 hours into the pad, the triangle button is no longer registering every press. The switch doesn't activate unless you press directly in the center with even pressure. I've changed my rating to 1 star as I'm returning this and never looking back. It's a shame, had a lot of promise.Tl;DRBetter for MK and Injustice where you aren't sliding across the controls or pushing two face buttons at once. Not so great for SF trying to input ex moves is a pain. I prefer normal buttons vs ones with microswitches. Nice build quality. As a note, I play USF4, MK, and Injustice. I've tested it out on all three games, and found that for a MK style game it's absolutely better. But for someone who really mains SF, it's not the best choice because of some reasons I outline below. When they announced that USF4 was going to be played on PS4 I had to make a choice. Get another stick, mod one of my current sticks or pick up a fight pad. I'm fine on a stick, but I still feel that some of my execution is better on a pad (zangief player here!) I got this controller and initially I thought, wow this is awesome. After playing with it a bit here are my findings:+ Controller feels solid. I like the top bumper buttons and it doesn't feel cheaply made.+ Back has a nice grip to it, I don't mind the shortened side of the controller, especially if it's for someone who plays the buttons like a stick (not me)- At first I liked the buttons. You kind of get used to them, but you definitely have to push them fairly far down to hit the microswitches inside the button. These feel COMPLETELY different than any other fight pad out there because of those microswitches, so be warned.- For someone to push two buttons at once with your thumb to do EX moves in SF4, say with the Square and Triangle button, it's really hard to depress both of them at the same time. The buttons have to go below the face of the pad, so getting them both depressed is extremely difficult.- The D pad kind of sucks. It's tight, but you can't rock back and forth on it, like you would with a floating d pad. If you try to rock, you will get a jump or crouch input error probably 1 out of 4 times if you aren't lifting your finger up and pushing left then right etc. Pulling a 360 on it works well if you make sure to input your punch/kick button before you hit the top of the dpad, or your ass is jumping.Overall I can't say I'm happy with it as a mainly Street Fighter player. I think that some people will find this nice, especially those who play MK or Injustice, but for me it's like learning a whole new device. I switch to pad sometimes because it's familiar, but this is about as familiar as going to a stick for the first time. Will probably keep it for collectors sake, but I already pre ordered a Mad Catz TE2 stick, and will most likely pick up a Hori Commander 4 to test that out. Those seem like more SF4 Fight pad style buttons.

Great for MK fans
Awesome controller, does take awhile to get used to. I play on Hard, had to go back down to Medium while I got used to this one, but now its great.Few faults, one the paint on the buttons smudges off easily. My square button is now just a big black button. Also there's no touch screen. Not really a problem for the most part, but in Mortal Kombat X King of the Hill, you have to press the touch screen to go full screen, which means I play half screen. Finally, its extremely light. It basically feels like a hollow piece of plastic which makes me question the price tag. Is the controller itself worth $50 on its own? I'd say no, more like $25. But being a die hard MK fan, yeah it becomes a little more comfortable. All that said, now that I'm used to it, I prefer to use this over my Dualshock 4 when playing Mortal Kombat. The fact I can play MK9 and MKX helps it too. Reminds me of playing MK Ultimate 3 on my Sega Genesis.

This fight pad feels great, looks great
This fight pad feels great, looks great, and even works perfect even if you plug it into a PC! My only gripe would be that it feels really light, but beyond that, it has been great!

BUENA COMPRA

This controller was almost excellent. It has a fantastic light feel
This controller was almost excellent. It has a fantastic light feel, the buttons are easy to press and the directional pad is sensitive and works like a charm. Though some complained that this controller did not have enough weight and felt "cheap," I rather enjoy the overall design. However, within a few days of using this controller, the triangle button began to fail. I decided to pack it back up and put it in my closet to be forgotten. It was rather expensive and I thought as I was buying it that I'd probably be better off with the regular PS4 controller. It looks like that may have been the case.
