I think this is the first book I’ve read that makes the process of developing personal rituals so understandable.Many approaches are filled with arcane or complex ideas—and a sense that you had better get everything right or risk tearing a hole in the universe or something. This book is about reconnecting with life and using this connection to heal your own life in every sense.I loved the personal stories and how the author wove in the lore of his Toltec tradition. I bought this book in Kindle form but will now order the hard copy because it’s one that will need to be dogeared, marked, and reread.I found this video by the author that reveals his heart and a little of the tradition from which this book has its roots.

As a practicing Shaman, I am already in love with this book! It is helping me deepen my practice and rituals along with reconnecting and becoming more present. Thank you for writing this book.

This is a book for the times, couldn't be more needed than during a pandemic.

I absolutely love this book thus far. I am 3/4 of the way done and I cannot wait to start implementing some of the tools they give in this book to lead a life of balance and harmony. The Toltec teachings they discuss in this book are spiritual, yet very simple. It resonates with me on a soul level.

A must have!
