I've had this book since it was first released. It's taken me so long to finish it simply because I get so distracted with life and a bunch of other meaningless excuses.. But every single time I pick up the book to continue where I left off from, Always seems to be perfect timing in all areas of my life to apply what I just read. This book is so Powerful I am obsessed!! Today I picked up on (Chapter 9: Submissive, Not Arrogant) and my Love for Jesus Increased immensely! I learned something I didn't know or could have ever imagined Jesus reveal in such a transparent way. As well as a huge correction on my part that I was able to apply into my prayer life. It was such a Beautiful and Intense moment I had as I read through each word in this chapter, I had to stop because the Spirit of the Living God was active and fully present over me! I just wanted to share this experience I had and hope it encourages someone in some way. I am fully awake and willing in my prayer life at this moment and I hope I remain that way. I am a hairdresser and I'm constantly running into people that need so much prayer and intercession that I have been missing out on. Thankful for this amazing book God has transferred to us through Autumn. I'm not done reading it yet but I'm so in love with it and I plan on reading it again because I dont wanna miss out on anything and I want to remain Active in my Prayer Life...Straight Gangster in my Prayer Life!💕

When the words in a book call out to you, transformation begins. « Gangster Prayer » by Autumn Miles @autumnmiles is not to be taken lightly. It is raw! It is real! It is as honest as a person can be about what we all struggle with in our walk, talk and relationship with God and I dare to say our non-relationship with God. I don’t endorse a lot of books, after all one has the Bible to read and should read (my opinion). Every now and then comes a writing that is from the core of someone’s being! This isn’t about religion this is about the truth that is within each one of us. Our struggles are real whether you’re a Pastor, Priest, child of a Pastor, believer, non-believer, found or lost have that part of you that longs, hurts, laughs and cries... this book will take you deeper with God and yourself! I am speechless. This book blessed me beyond measure. A few times a year, I lead a 30 day prayer challenge with hundreds of women but this year God instructed me to do something a little different. Before I knew this book existed, God was revealing to that those of us that classify ourselves as Christians had dead or nearly non existent prayer lives. I stumbled upon Autumn's podcast and she was in the series talking about this book. I immediately felt a unction to purchase the book so I did. The raw unfiltered and transparent truth is what I appreciate most about this book. Holy Spirit himself wrote this book. It is a must read especially if you are struggling in your prayer life, losing or lost hope, don't believe your prayers are being answering, or can't seem to get it together you need to get this book. If you need to be encouraged, refilled, or pushed to an active and viable prayer life, get this book. If you need your Faith to increase and activate, get this book. Thank you Autumn for your obedience in writing this book. You are a blessing to the Kingdom.

I pre-ordered this and already had the chance to read it front to back. I couldn’t put it down, read it in less than two days and ready to read it again.‘Gangster Prayer’ has allowed me to take a look at my own prayer life. And well, honestly, it hasn’t been all that swell over the years. After reading some of the miracles and answers to Autumn’s prayers throughout the book, I found myself saying out loud, “Wow wow wow.” I asked myself, “Have I had similar wow moments in my own life? What can I change to get there?”I carve out time for Him but do I really PRIORITIZE AND INTENTIONALLY MAKE THE TIME to sit with Him. I realize now how important it is to prioritize prayer in my life. It’s direct communication with THE COMMUNICATOR. Direct communication = direct resultsI’ve been asking God to draw closer to Him, I’ve been praying for a more intimate relationship. This book is the answer. I know my prayer life won’t bloom overnight, this book will hold me accountable and has already shifted my prayer habits for the good.

This is a must have read, like honestly!! If you are reading this review I recommend you get it, but not just for you get it for your mom, sister, neighbor, co-worker or anyone you can think of. This book is one that you will want read over and over. I has become a study for me. I want to draw closer to the Lord everyday and Autumn really digs down to the nitty gritty of what hinders that. This Country needs a revival and it has to start with prayer!! I absolutely love my time of prayer. I have and will continue to recommend this book to everyone, and I do mean everyone. I have read all three of Autumn Miles books and they are all so real and raw. She has a passion and love for the Lord, which shines through in this book. Scripture says we will know believers by their fruit and I will just say that after meeting her and reading this book; she defiantly yield fruit.

I really don't have exact words to describe how this book, the words, the scripture and the stories have touched me. I can say this was a much needed wake up call in my life.I've cried, laughed, been in a greater depth of awe for our Father along with repentance, new hope and a stronger faith.This book cannot be read and simply move on. Now will begin my reflecting, changing and implementing this into my life.Thank you Autumn! Your obedience to our Father and your passion to teach is evident in your words.
