❤️🔥Bound by Love - Born In Blood Chronicles #6 - Review❤️🔥
❤️🔥Bound by Love - Born In Blood Chronicles #6 - Review❤️🔥Couple: Aria Vitiello & Luca VitielloAuthor: Cora ReillyTropes: frenemy to lover, arranged marriage, forced proximity, mafia romance, dark romance, shy FMC, he falls first, touch her die vibesReview: Aria and Luca part 2! This story begins after Aria is shot and initially is from Luca’s POV. It starts at the midway point in the story then regresses to the past until it finally works up to where the prologue started and past.In this book we get to read about Aria’s recovery from her GSW and Luca’s first few months as Capo. We initially read about them falling more in love during their honey moon. I enjoyed the first parts because Aria really becomes her own person at first. However, it quickly goes down hill when we get to the part where Aria helps Gianna runaway and Luca loses faith in her. While this part is tense there is still a good relationship between them. When we get further in we also get to see how their relationship was strained with Liliana’s and Romero’s story. Luca gets frustrated with Aria for not telling him about the new couple and it gets worse when Fabiano intercepts them at Liliana’s ‘wedding’ and then goes silent. For me, this was the breaking point in the story because Fabiano is the youngest son and when he goes missing it hurts Aria the most.❤️🔥❤️🔥SPOILERS❤️🔥❤️🔥Reading the different POVs between Aria and Luca when she goes to Chicago behind Luca’s back is upsetting. On one hand, I understand her need to check on Fabiano but at the same time she put herself in danger and went at a very bad time for her personally. On the other hand, I understand why Luca gets so upset with her for leaving since the story gets twisted. It was very sad since this is when Aria first realizes she is pregnant with Marcella. After Aria returns to NYC her and Luca go cold. I almost quit reading when it looked like he was about to cheat on her. Ultimately, Luca caves when Aria starts to lose weight and he worries about her health. I felt terrible for him when he thought she was dying and then again when he realizes he missed out on her finding out. There is a trigger warning in this book for violence. Luca goes on his rampage in this book which is what Marcella’s book is based off of. He also has trouble coping with the Capo position and managing his ‘darkness’.Overall, I really loved this book. It was sad but endearing and also was realistic. It showed struggles and growth without being too perfect or too troublesome. I really liked how Aria stayed true to herself but also learns how to deal with being a mafia wife. I also really enjoyed Luca’s POV since he is very worried about his family and his inner self with raising children.Rating: 10/10, a great but bittersweet ending to Aria & Luca

Lengthy review : spoilers
Again I love cora reilly and the mafia world she has created. Let's start with Aria. In her sisters books she was more annoying but she was definitely better in this one. It aggravates me though that she continues to betray Lucas trust. I understand her intentions are good but what were you thinking leaving unprotected and alone !? Honestly that was the only time she annoyed me on this book. I love Luca. Should he have done a little more groveling ? Absolutely but he had every right to be upset. Matteo definitely shined in this book, especially with his niece. I also appreciate that unlike a lot of romance books ( doesn't matter the genre of romance) they waited to get pregnant. I loathe the pregnancy trope but if done right I don't mind it. It was very well executed. I read these series backwards without realizing and read the cammora chronicles first which is still my favorite series so I like how Remo and the falcones were introduced. Now to why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars ... I wish we didn't spend 55% of the book hashing out what we've already read in the previous 4/5 books. I definitely understand a recap of Luca and Arias opinions and thoughts throughout the Gianna and Lily mess but I don't need to re read what already happened and the same conversations that I definitely just skimmed over to get through the book. I felt as though at times it was just meant to be page fillers which I hate to say because I love Coras writing style but 55% of the book was just too much and honestly boring and not what I expected. I did not read Dantes book nor growls book because I really have no interest and I will probably take a break for awhile from this mafia world but all in all it was a great series as of yet. I love the relationship between the sisters and between Matteo and Luca but again I'm a falcone girl and honestly prefer Kiara over Aria.

A book I read over and over
This is a series that I like so I read them quite a bit .And I usually find things that annoy me but let go . I know these are fictional and that this is the writer doing what they do .As well as this couple not being new ( some are) and mafia and all....but... It really bothers me when men think about ex sexualy .This comment is not just in this book but the books before The reminiscing about what an ex does sexually with you ,he commented to his brother ,with his wife standing there ,how she su##ed like a vacuum and he wouldn't be disappointed .All this ( in first book( after she caught him cheating with this ex,then forcing her to go to the party and only telling her last minute. The excuse was he didn't want her to make a big deal out of it ...because he sits down every Day with her ex lovers so its fa.....no ,no wait ,writers make them be unmolested Virgin still ,so the well verses in sex husbands deflowers them 🤦Very distasteful of a man to expect his wife to be pleasant to a sexual ex and then make a comment on how.good sexualy she is in front of his ....WIFE. Who was inexperience in sex .Then this one where she is made to look like she cheated .Listened to nothing she had to say ,left and later found by brother thinking about the stripper dancing in vulgar way exposing herself to him .Thinking about having sex with her and how she could take it in the a#s and hasn't had that since the ex ,that his wife feels very un sexy and insecure about and that the ex would let him do it .Pretty much implying that his wife isn't fulfilling his sexualy needs .Finds out ,even though he knew, that she never cheated ,and doesn't care she betrayed .So she deserves everything he does .Goes home and see that she is wasting away and hand trembling ,but won't fall for her witchy ways 🙄Tells her the party ...of his ex farther ,and she must go.Finds out married ex will be there but still goes ,while he informed her that appearance mean everything and SHE will not act up .Of course he plans to get with ex,how else can he prove to himself and everyone that he is his old cold mean self and not a weak man that loves his wife . And yes wife see it gets sick and leaves ,while he is realized that she is not there, not because he's doing anything wrong, but because she can't trick him with her looks and dress . Off they go to his ex bedroom ,A room that holds so much good memories... According to him at that moment .😒 Proceeds to tell her not to talk about his wife as she drops to his knees but oh no he sees his wife and can't do it ,he's weak .😢 Yea no just sickening.Goes back out and sees wife and sister ,who is practically holding wife up ,but she looks at him and stands taller ...good she saw him with ex and thinks he cheated ...yea good ,that'll put her in her place . This ability to make women put up with men like this is just maddening. Doesn't matter if he actually acted on any of it and lets be real he sorta did act on it with out actual sex happening . Had she done any of what he did after she saw him cheating he would have killed her .Double standards are not standards. And of course he sees her weak ,losing weight and such and can't help but be worried ...few day go by and stumbled in on her being pregnant ...and guess what !!!! All is well!! Yes!!! No remorse for anything he did ..none ..we are back on solid ground and we have a happy ever after ..just no .no .no I know what she did .And I know what he did .You can cheat without cheating physically and you can hurt with out throwing a punch .I guess I'm getting n older and things I brushed off are no longer setting right with me ,but what he did was shi##y and they never have to atone ..never. Write some strong kicka#s women that leaves their butt and finds a real man that really loves them instead of putting up with men that go to strip joints ,even if they own it,and act as if they can sleep with anyone they want but you better not even smile at a man or their dead ....phew that was annoying. Will I read it again..y..e..s..to my ever loving horror ,yes .🤦

A mixed bag, but Luca and Aria are my OTP
The sixth book in this mafia-romance series takes us back to the beginning by following our original pairing, Aria and Luca. I'll always have a soft spot for these two over some of the other couple because they were the first. Unlike that first book, the perspective is split between the two of them which I love, and it was great to see how they've grown over the previous books. When it comes to the plot and pacing things begin to get a little messy. Half of the book is snapshots of how they experienced various events of other books, which was interesting but as it wasn't new you had to be invested in the characters over the plot. This part also jumped around a lot. You'd get a couple of chapters from the events of Bound by Hatred and the skip to events from Bound by Temptation, which did not feel cohesive. However, it does catch you up on the series if you skipped a book or if it's been a while. The second half was a lot stronger as it had a plotline all of its own. I read the second half in a single sitting because it was that compelling. Overall, this book was a bit of a mixed bag but if you enjoy Luca and Aria then this is a great chance to spend more time with them.

Good Follow Up
This book recounts a lot of the other books in the series, but this time from Aria and Luca's POV, starting from Valentina's wedding in book 2, through aspects of each book including Fabiano's book. I did like getting to see their story continue through this and how the lives of those around them affected their relationship but it did take up roughly 50% of the book and I found myself getting a bit frustrated with the lack of new events. The last have of the book was amazing as it was a story that we hadn't already read and it finally showed the betrayal that the book description talked about. It was classic Luca and Aria, it absolutely gutted me but I really loved how it turned out.

Absolutely Fabulous!!!!!
I can't tell you how happy I was when I saw that this story was being released I'd already read Twisted Loyalties which is the new spin off series from Born in Blood series but this book filled in a few holes that was missing in the original stories. It was also great to read from each person's view in turn and I went through every emotion possible which for me tells me I'm totally invested in these characters along with the storyline which means that the authors work is Gold if she can get inside your imagination and that you can actually feel like your there with them in every scenario. To anyone trying to decide whether or not to take the plunge and read Cora's amazing stories, with my hand on my heart I will tell you that you will not be disappointed and that they are definitely worth your time and money. Congratulations Cora, and hope to hear loads more stories from you!!! 🗽💰🌠🌠 p.s. Cora you are definitely back on track and hope all your trials and tribulations are now in your rear mirror and only success and sunshine for miles on the road ahead, God willing, Thanks again Cora. Truly epic
I'm not quite sure where to start with this book, but I once again fell in love with Aria and Luca. Having first read Bound by Honor in early 2015, I had a strong attachment to these two characters as they introduced me to a whole other world. Bound by Love brought their story to a full circle, we go from their engagement and follow their lives over a 15 year journey where Aria is happily married with two kids. Their world has been full of pain but also love, which is all-consuming, we see the level of love and respect Matteo and Luca have for each other, their love for their family and wives doesn't weaken them but acts as their strength. It is very easy to become attached to these characters as they are very raw and real, you easily connect to them as you grow to love them because their brutality is only reserved for those who wish to harm their family.I don't know how Cora does it, but she draws you in to this amazing world and on an incredible journey which will make you laugh and cry throughout the book. A very talented author and phenomenal writer.
