This miniature camera will not only take photos but also record video and audio. With a quick switch button for changing from mode to mode you can easily move from taking a photo to capturing a video with the press of a button. Not only does it take photos and record video but also captures audio only for when you want to take important notes.

Not bad for a toy...
Make no mistake, this is a toy camera. If you are looking for a dirt-cheap GoPro alternative, this isn't it. The pictures and videos may have HD dimensions and sizes, but they are definitely not HD quality. It comes in a smart tin, with a mini-CD containing Windows drivers, a pdf manual file, and a time.txt file for setting the time. The manual is written in the usual Chinese-translated Engibberish. Here's an excerpt describing the ON button:"Button 3 : Press the button to turn on, turn off, start, stop, video recording, sound recording"Even with that succinct description, it still took me a while to work it out. There is no button 1, by the way.The battery lasts about an hour recording video. I am not sure why they bother to even do the sound recording feature because the sound quality is pretty abysmal, with a lot of hiss and low recording volume. When the battery runs out, the clock resets, and that's a pain, because the world starts again at 2007-01-01.The camera, basically has 2 buttons, ON and MODE, and a tiny LED to tell you what it is suppose to be doing. Red for video recording, blue for picture taking, red and blue for sounding recording, and get this, red and blue for motion-activated video recording. To switch between video, pictures and sound, you use the mode button. However, if you want motion-activation, you have to use the ON button by holding it down for about a second. No confusion there then. The LED is mounted on the front of the camera, rather than more usefully at the back, where you are. So you will be taking a lot of videos and pictures of yourself, squinting at the LED to see if it is red, blue or red and blue, or red and blue. The view finder, well, doesn't. You can't see anything through it. You will have more luck looking through a telescope backwards. If you are hoping to use it as a GoPro-style action-cam, you are also going to need a lot of duct tape, because there is no other way of mounting it to anything, other than to tape it down. The MicroSD slot also has a rather strong return spring. Whilst trying to push a card it, it slipped my finger nail and shot out, flew several metres past me and disappeared into the garden. It is not the worst 14 quid that I have ever spent, as I have bought worse for more before, but I won't be buying another one of these, that's for sure.

I CONTACTED THE COMPANY DIRECT AS I COULD NOT DOWN LOAD FROM THE TINY DISK - THE GUIDE BOOK. SO TO DATE PRE XMAS IT IS STILL IN ITS BOX. THE COMPANY DID COME BACK TO ME EVENTUALLY AND TOLD ME TO VISIT THEIR WEBSITE !I WENT ON LINE TO LOCATE THE GUIDE BOOK WITH NO SUCCESS, IT DID NOT ADVISE ME. SO A WASTE OF MONEY ON MY PART.
