Harry Potter!
They look and worked perfectly for what I needed them for! My son had a Harry Potter Birthday in November (his 11th, he received his Hogwaets letter! Lol! ) To string them up, I just wrapped fishing line around the base of the flame, and it held perfectly. I also was able to reuse the candles for my Harry Potter Christmas tree, and they looked great! You have to twist the bottom of the candles close, with the batteries in them of course, to turn the candles on. If you want to turn them off, I just untwisted them slightly until the lights switched off. Because, when I had them pinned to the ceiling, it was tedious to take all the batteries out of them, so just untwisting them slightly worked perfectly. I also used rechargeable batteries, so I have yet to leave them on long enough for them to die out. It really depends on the battery life, but I had no problem to date with them. Definitely worth the money!

FIRE HAZARD ** Do not buy! **
These are garbage. Dont buy them....Most importantly several of them were malfunctioning, and when I went to inspect why they weren't working, I found them to be very hot.... seemed like they might start a fire. For some reason each candle requires 2 AA batteries... so you end up spending more on batteries than you did to buy these fire hazard pieces of junk. Also, each candle has 1 tiny LED in it which puts off a ridiculously low amount of light. They are just awful pieces of garbage.... which is where they currently reside at my house. In the trash.

Exactly what I hoped they would be.
Bought these to use in a Haary Potter themed grad party. Used alarge, hit needle to put a hole through the "flame" and hung them from the ceiling with fishing line. It looked amazing. The description said that they would last about 12 hours on 2 AA batteries. They liked. They lasted 6 days and probably would have lasted longer, but I turned them off. One caution, I bought 48 and had 4 that didn't work.

Beautiful candles - Definitely worth the price
I absolutely Love these candles. 1st of all, having the batteries in them saves me time and hassle. I have 2 of them in my candle holders on my mantle, and the flickering light looks realistic. Now,sometimes I have them on for many, many hours, and they never even felt warm to me. Really nice candles for a great price. Right now I have 2 of them in some beautiful hanging lanterns in my backyard, in memory of all my fellow Americans that are suffering and dying of COVID-19. If only our country had some REAL leadership.God bless them all.

Unbelievable
They say 880 hour on one batter...... been lit now for 15 days and still going strong. We set a couple out when they came, to see if they would really last. Set ones from dollar store out also. dollar store ones used up battery, these, going great, put outside to see effect of cold, (Pittsburgh, PA), still going, 5 days out side.Get with batteries, less expensive than one without batteries and then buy batteries. will up-date as time goes on. LOVE THEM.

Great sub for real candles when outdoors
With the pandemic, our Scout Troop has been holding ceremonies outdoors. Lit candles are great but won't stand up to a breeze so we replaced our wax candles with these. They fit "pretty well" into the existing candlesticks, but I've never had wax candles fit perfectly either so it's no biggie. I take a small wad of aluminum foil and jam it in with the candle to hold it in place. What we do is unscrew the lightbulbs and have each Scout screw in the light to "light" the candle for each point of the Scout Law. Comes in a package of 6 so we bought 2 packs. AA batteries not included.

Ok
These are ok. I am a bit disappointed they don’t fit in a candelabra better, as they are pictured in one in the listing. They tip over and fall out easily because they are not a good fit. I wish there was a button on the bottom of them to turn them on instead of unscrewing the “flame” to light them, as unscrewing them leaves a gap between the flame and the candle portion. I think they will be good for floating candles for a Harry Potter party, though.

LOVE for Harry Potter party!
I bought 2 packs (24) for a Harry Potter themed party. They take 2 AA batteries per candle, the bottom twists to turn them on. I took needle nosed pliers, picked up a thick sewing needle, heated it on a flame, then stabbed it through the tip of the plastic flame piece and pulled it back out. Melted a perfect hole for either upholstery thread or fishing line. They will be heavy since there are two batteries inside but I hung a few from a few different light fixtures in rooms and from the some other areas in the living room. They looked amazing suspended. Be aware if you do this, you have to take them down to turn them off because you need to access the bottom and twist it. There's no switch per se, it's twist the bottom on tight and it comes on, untwist the bottom (battery cap) and it turns off.

okay quality
they work well and look nice, but are a right royal PAIN IN THE BUT. I thought they had an on/off switch, but they don't, so if you want to alternate using them and leaving them unlit in the candle holder, you have to take each candle out of the candelabra, screw open the battery compartment and take out the batteries. Total waste of time. But if you plan to only use them once in a while for a long period of time , they are okay. Some of the battery tops had to be screwed so tight to make them work and keep them on that they cracked right away.

Received bad batch/ defective candles
Odered 8 cases -Received mostly defective candles, 4 boxes completely fine the others 10 out of 12 broken in each case. The lid casing separates blocking the opening of where you need to put in 2x AA batteries. Once this piece is separated from the top candle you would have to hot glue it back in place.

No on/off switch
No one off switch, to turn it on and off again you have to put in and remove the batteries. Very poorly designed, a waste of batteries in my opinion

Light In The Dark
Tested all the candles, they work well with no problems so far. I bought these candles for the coming Rosh HaShana and thereafter Hanukkah. They are so convenient to use compared to the messy oil lamps to light the menorah and also the fumes that I have a problem with. I like these candles because they glow like real candles - very happy with the purchase and the quick delivery👍 Thank you😁

Smaller than standard bases
They are easy to use but the base is too small for a standard candle holder. I had to wrap them in tissue to get them to stand straight. I have a lovely 3’ tall 6 candle decor piece and they are almost perfect.
