Norpro 5-Cup Stainless Steel Crank Flour Sifter,Silver

Needed larger soft er, this hold 5 cups.

Not that large. But I like it.

This is my first time using this type of sifter and I find it to be noisy. Flour leaks from the two holes on the side. Not only that, the second loop agitator presses the mesh so hard that it defeats the purpose of free flowing flour. I had to use for self milled Quinoa and had to sift again with a small strainer at home. This might work for regular use flours.

It’s just like the one I have used forever; just like my mother and grandmother! Would never buy another type. Looking forward to getting the same use out of the new as the old.

This sifter was to replace a Bromwell sifter we have used for 50 years and which the screen finally came loose. The Bromwell is not stainless steel, this new one is.

Overall a good size and the body is sturdy. The handle is flimsy and could use a thicker rod and a more fluid and sturdier knob to hold when sifting.

Love this design of softer! It has been working like a charm!

This sifter gets the job done. I bought it for my son who loves to make hush puppies. The first thing he said when he saw it was that it's only got the two rotator blades, instead of three like my very old one has. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars....probably doesn't even really matter, he was just used to borrowing mine and noticed. It's lighter weight than my old fashioned one.....but isn't everything these days.
