50276 Tornado Ball-Bearing Swivel Seat Fits 5-Gallon Bucket

I had high hopes that this would be ideal for my needs when I ordered it. After reading some of the other reviews that were more negative I had my concerns about how it would turn out. Luckily this appears to be perfect for what I need it for. My primary use is to use this while gardening, and since I have limited mobility the swivel is great to make the work easier on me than it would be without. The swivel is quiet, virtually soundless. I put this on a 5 gallon bucket that was bought from Westlake Ace Hardware and it fits perfect. I know some reviews say that this just rests on their bucket instead of snapping into place, but it does actually snap into place on the westlake ace bucket. It won't fall off if held upside down. It may not snap into place on other buckets, but if you need it to try a westlake ace bucket. If you're looking for a lid that will keep liquids in when overturned, this isn't going to work for you. On the other hand if you're a fisherman and want to keep your catch in here or your live bait like minnows there are holes that will provide adequate airflow to the inside of the bucket.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase thus far, though I haven't had it for long. If I have problems with it I'll update my review, but as of now this is perfect for me and I couldn't be happier with it.

I use it for softball. Cover tends to come off 5 gallon bucket of balls unless an effort is made to make sure the bucket is secured. If the bucket is in a trunk or back of a truck/van and allowed to tip over, I end up with softballs all over. The swivel works OK for an adult, but in hindsight I'd rather have a lid that more securely fastens to the bucket with a padded, instead of molded plastic, seat. I'm sure it would work better if the contents of the bucket was lighter. Kids love to spin around on the swivel seat, so they think it's great. I think it's OK, not a complete waste of money, but I'm sure there are better options available.

The lid fits the bucket well and swivels well with a 300lbs guy on it but when you add a cushion it rubs the bottom of the lid and makes some noise. Still pretty good way to haul your hunting gear out into the woods and you don’t end up with a wet or cold rear end from sitting on ground or fallen logs

The quality is excellent and well worth the price. My disappointment is that with it stating the color was Black, I thought the entire seat would be Black and not teal green? and trimmed with black trim. The reason color was important when I perused the internet is that I am putting it on a Black & Gold Steelers 5 gallon bucket. I dont know if I'll have time before Christmas (it is a Christmas gift) but I'll buy Steelers fabric and make an elastic cover for over it....Just sharing for a review...other than that, the price is excellent for the quality.

I ue this to turn my garden tool bucket into a seat - so I can carry my tools along and at the same time I have a place to sit when I have to do some back breaking task for a longer period of time. There are rather large holes in the piece that fits on the bucket, which makes it so that it will not keep water out of the bucket, which is regrettable,

I have other, solid plastic seats that fit ANY five gallon container well. This does not have a solid fit on any container, does not seal (so that water comes in if left in the rain). Despite that, it is comfortable and makes working in the raised garden beds easier, being able to reach a wide area with just a swivel.
