Moen 105895BL Kitchen Air Gap, Matte Black

Easily installed for us as a replacement for current Moen dishwasher ovrrflow that was leaking.

To prevent leaks, you must place the white rubber washer above the sink surface and under the top mounting nut. Otherwise, you will need to use another means, such as silicone, to seal the water out. The instructions tell you to put the washer beneath the sink, but this will result in leaks from the sink surface.

I have 3 holes in my granite counter top from an old faucet set. Bought this & a Moen faucet with soap dispenser. I made sure to order all Moen & all SPOT RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL! I dont have it attached to the dishwasher line--but it looks good & does the job--fills the hole & looks better than a flat plate would. Im a happy camper!!

Easy to install with good instructions. Looks good and matches matte black faucet I purchased at The Home Depot. As long as you have standard sink and dimensions you should not have any problems. I drilled the hole with a 2 1/4" hole saw and it fit perfect.

I was looking for a gap cover to match the Moen faucet but had a hard time finding one to match the color. This is truly the closest and it looks great. The price was a big too steep in my opinion but I purchased anyway.

After 6 months of our dishwasher not draining and also taking hours to complete a cycle we were on the verge of replacing it. I did a quick search and realized the 'air gap' is what we needed to get the disposal to stop flushing water back into the dishwasher and blocking the line.Install was about 20 minutes including drilling a hole through our sink and now the dishes come out sparkling and dry.
