Beautiful, but malfunctioned
Unlike the prior poster, I thought this is the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen. Reflective silver pickguard suspended in air against a glossy black background. Also, these Framus guitars are impressively precision machined (as would be expected from a German guitar).Unfortunately, my pickup had some kind of electrical malfunction, so had to return. Would have loved to keep this.In my opinion, sound is primarily only suitable for a jazz guitar.

Framus really let me down on this one. The Billy Lorento that I got had such poor finish work, broken parts, etc, it wasn't even funny. But even if it had been in stellar shape, I cant see this guitar being worth more than $300. It was just not high quality in any way up close and the sound wasn't great either. To each his own, but considering that these have sold in Europe for $500 Euros, I think the price Amazon lists these for makes them seem like way more than they really are.
