CVA Replacement Breech Plug (2010+ Accura/Optima)

I needed an extra breech plug and this one fit the bill. Works great and is a great price. Love CVA muzzies.

I've had a number of CVA muzzleloaders over the years . if you try to use Blackhorn Powder with the stock breach plug you will have hangfires . This breach plug solves the whole problem.

I bought this for my CVA Accura to use Blackhorn 209 powder and it works perfectly. I haven’t had a single misfire. I would highly recommend it if you’re using Blackhorn.

This plug greatly increased the accuracy of my CVA Optima with Blackhorn 209. I was having issues with inconsistent and delayed ignition with the original plug, even using 209 Magnum primers. This plug installed easily after properly tightening and loosing it with the included wrench. I coated the threads with regular silver anti-seize and it has stayed loose and finger removeable for at least 50 shots without cleaning the threads and only swabbing the barrel every 8 shots or so.I went from getting 8 inch groups with 250 Grain Hornady SSTs and 80 grains of powder at 100 yards to groups under 2 inches without trying too hard. There is zero delay between the hammer falling and the rifle firing now. This cheap muzzleloader is at least as accurate as my marlin 30-30 at 100 yards, if not more so.
