I've used these on my standard poodle for about 6 months now, and so far they work very well. The handle holes are large enough for an adult male to comfortably use, and the blades are very sharp. It seems to be well made and doesn't bind up or have gaps in the cutting surfaces when closing. Overall, these were a great value at the price I paid on Amazon!

I like the way these fit in my hand and they are very sharp. They are a bit heavy and don’t ‘glide’ when they cut. I feel i mustbe verycareful around tender puppy skin. Lighter scissors are easier for me to control than these. I usually use AUSSIE Dog brand for anout the same price, but wanted to give these a try. Aussie Dog brand is obtained primarily at shows and in sets of three. I only wanted one pair.So, i am fine with these. They are very good, a little heavy and require a strong hand.

Compre estas tijeras porque decía en el anuncio que eran 8,5 in y resulta que no lo es porque las tijeras azules que si son del tamaño real a comparación de la otras pues no es de igual tamaño. Engaño absoluto en su tamaño

These have held up really nicely! I’ve drop them a few times too, but they are still in good shape. Great for the price. I’ve been using them for 6 months now

The scissors are very nice. I did not use them because even with the rubber inserts out I could not get my fingers in them. they only fit my finger tips and were not comfortable to use. I have some what small hands for most men, so if you are a woman these will be fine. Otherwise I would not recommend these for men. I returned them to Amazon without a problem and will look for some that have larger finger holes.

These scissors right out of the package are so 'tight' / 'stiff' you can't hardly get them to open. I only kept them because I was in a pinch and dropped my other groomer shears and these were the only ones I could get via prime in two days. That being said in a pinch they do the job. I was able to put a little clipper oil and get them to glide a bit easier until I was able to use them in a pinch. I am just keeping them for my back up scissors now that I have my regular ones sharpened and repaired.

These are lovely: a nice heft in one's hand and a sharp and true cut. I groom my standard poodle and use these on her topknot and over the hips to create a smooth curve. I had previously ordered the 6.5 inch shears in error (they were too short) and returned them in exchange for these. Very happy with them.

I am a professional groomer and right off I noticed they are not a true 8.5" curve, they also fold the hair which means they are in desperate need of sharpening. Very low quality average scissor.
