Great way to extend wiring
This is the best way to extend and organize wiring. Box worked well. Grommets very hard plastic

Happen to come across this item as I was looking for something else. I purchased to try out and was very pleased. I am glad I came across this item. Made my wiring job much easier and cleaner. Definitely worth the price. I will buy again.

Will do the job but not weather proof
There’s no gasket so I wouldn’t call it weatherproof at all. There is no stretch it’s made of hard plastic not vinyl or rubber.

Very nice box
It was larger than I expected it to be, but work out perfectly (be sure to pay attention to the measurements provided). All the studs were very sturdy. Very nice junction box. I recommend anyone who had several wires to hook together and has room to mount the box, to buy this one.

Missing hardware and poor rubber but worked for me
As others have noted, there's missing hardware. Mine was missing one of the retention nuts, but had the screws for the lid. I did happen to have a correct size nut in my stash, so hardware store trip was not needed. Since mine is mounted in the trunk of my car for the vehicle side harness, I don't need to concern myself with weather proof issues. The grommets are not very pliable if at all and more like soft plastic than rubber. I would not trust this to be weather proof at all, much less water proof. I would also not trust this to be able to take a rock without cracking. It does not feel very durable in the hand. It works fine for my purposes though. Makes the trailer wiring much more serviceable. This is the smallest form factor box I could find and just BARELY fits in the hole I have for it.

Protecting form corrosion.
I installed one like this under my Silverado to get control of the trailer connections from corroding. This one will go on the rear of the travel trailer.
