Great toy. My grand kids love it and play with it every time they come to my house. I, however, am the monkey collector. We have already enjoyed many hours of fun with the Monkey in the box.

This works just as a jack-in-the-box should and plays the typical pop goes the weasel tune. My only issue with it is that the tin material it is made with dents easily and because it was shipped in a plastic bag instead of a box, it arrived dented. The damage did not occur anywhere that affected its ability to open and close though, so that was why I didn't return it. I'm sure it will get dented further with use by my destructo-baby-girl.

A cute little monkey instead of a clown. I chose this one because it has the tradional song. This is not as sturdy as the ones my kids had back in the late 60s and early 70s, but I suppose that is the way most things are today. A fun toy to hold and play for a 10 month old. I am not sure how long it will last once she begins to really use it, but we are having many laughs with it now.

This item was sadly disappointing. I thought that I was buying something that would be entertaining as well as a collector's item. Sadly, not only was it not entertaining, it was B-O-R-I-N-G. Made me wish I had gone to someplace like Target where there was something that would light up or do something else that was attention-getting that would entertain a child. I paid way too much money for a present that not only didn't meet my expectations, but for something that was less than entertaining for a child.

I was very disappointed when the toy arrived. It was packaged like all other products I have ordered in the past. The jack in the box was broken. The box it was shipped in was not damaged nor was the toy dented, dinged, or otherwise appear broken. The box did not play music nor did the monkey jump out. It appears the product was defective or broken before it was shipped. I am very disappointed. I returned and got the sock monkey. My seven month old loves it. He will sit and watch it for hours.
