Well made basic spring action shears
These shears are well made basic sprung version french shears. They work great and do not bend the sheet metal to much. Very good cutting edge. The shears are the basic sprung model with a rubber band retainer and a loose spring that comes out if the sheers are opened very wide. But sprung shears are so much easier to use and they do work well!

Bought my first pair without the spring, that was a mistake. These are cheap and work well for what I need. The spring is a nice upgrade.

Just what I needed.
Cuts through sheet metal like it's paper. Made my job so easy and quick. Good quality. I can see these laying for years. The only issue I have is with the rivet that holds the yellow band to the handle; it sticks out too far and is in the way, and very uncomfortable on the hand. Other then that, no complaints here. Would buy again.

Nice straight lines
I had been using tin snips to cut the extra silver sheet after soldering a bezel to the sheet. I would then dremel off the extra. The snips were twisting the sheet and I was wasting silver scrap.With these I can easily trim right up to the bezel without bending the sheet and I save get to save and reuse those trimmed silver sheet shards. I should have gotten something like these years ago.

Excellent product!
I have been so disappointed with the shears I have purchased in the past. Either they are too heavy or they take too much hand strength. My husband has no problem with them but my hand hurts after trying to cut copper sheets for jewelry. These, however, are perfect! They are sharp, cut well, are not heavy and don't hurt my hand. Highly recommend!

Nice shears
After using these shears a few times the only thing i didn't care for are the hard metal handles but I came up with a solution. There's a product i got at Home Depot that you dip the handles of your tools in, sorry forgot the name but it worked like a charm and it gives you a better grip when cutting...P.S pour the rest of the product in a canning jar and it will keep a long time.
