Solaration 1024 Solar Mosaic Glass Ball Light for Garden Decoration, Garden Stake Yard LED Light for Great Gift!

The pink solar mosaic ball comes with two solar panels on the stake it's mounted on, I assume to gather all the more energy to power the bulb that lights up the glass at night. And light up it does! I've tried an assortment of solar garden decor, and this one out-performs ALL of them. Most stay lit for a few hours, but Solaration's Mosaic Glass Ball stays lit from the moment it's cast into shade until the sun hits it in the early morning.The only downside with this is the stake it's on, which is plastic and somewhat flimsy, hence the -1 star. If it weren't for that it would get the full 5. When finding a sunny place to put it in your garden or yard, make sure the soil is loose (or at the very least, not solid clay or rock) and hold on to the lower part of the stake, not the upper part where the Mosaic Globe is attached. Push the lower part of the stake into the soil with gentle but firm pressure. Enjoy!NOTE: If you feel the two pieces of the stake are too flimsy for the soil where you live, don't put the two pieces together until after putting the lower part of the stake into the ground. Once that's done, attach the upper to the lower part. Believe me, it'll be worth any extra effort you expend.

Looks so pretty early in the night, but like most solar lights it goes dim too soon. It would be nice to wake up early in morning and be greeted by these lights. The only fault I can find at this time is the quality of craftsmanship. Lots of putty between glass pieces, but you can't see this at night.

These lights are cool. I'm amazed at the color they put out for a really long time. We travel with these in our camper and right now they are on the shaded side of our camper the entire day, but they still charge and put out light for a few hours each night. When they are on the sunny side during the day they last all night long. The shafts started rusting, but everything does in the Florida Keys, so I just painted them with some Rustoleum I already had and now they stay looking new.

Okay, but not as nice as those I purchased earlier that changed color. Sorry I purchased them without understanding they differed from those purchased earlier.

Broke. After two months

The glass was much heavier then I expected. It is beautiful during daylight hour and stunning after the sun goes down.
