Dr. Scholl's Shoes Women's Giorgie Ballet Flat

Right out of the box, these shoes were waaaay too wide in the heel, but I did a sort-of fix with heel cushions. I work in a preK setting, and everytime I knelt down 1) the shoe would slip off my foot, 2) I would have to reposition the heel cushion, 3) the insole would bunch up and have to be repositioned. Okay, annoying, but I resolved to live with it because I liked the look of the shoe. And then I noticed, after fewer than half a dozen wearings (photo of sole is to show like-new condition), the "pony hair" on the toes had worn off completely (other photo). Maybe from kneeling down? Doesn't matter. Shouldn't have happened and the shoes are headed for the trash heap. I wish I could get my money back!

I was extremely excited to buy these shoes for all of my choir activities (I’m a music education major, so I’m constantly on my feet in black flats for hours at a time). I wore these shoes for the first time today and was very sad to find that they are extremely tight around the toes and heel. I ordered a half size up and they are still small, but I decided to give them the chance and break them in. To my surprise after only an hour of wearing the tip of the shoes were ALREADY scuffing off. All I was doing was walking around in my room, nothing that would warrant this kind of damage.Im extremely disappointed that I spent $40 on shoes that are not only too small but are already too ruined to return. I’m a student and I don’t have the budget to afford anything else so I guess I’m stuck with them.

Cute. They fit fine except the toe box and heel counter I expected to be a little softer for this comfort brand. They used thermal counters more suitable for dress shoes. They should have deconstructed these to make them even softer, more comfortable, and better. The sock foam is super soft and comfortable. The only negative I have is that the throatline cuts into the foot alittle. Needs to be broken in or hammered with the fabric lining better.

I have a black pair of these in size 9 and love them so much I ordered two more pairs when I wore holes in my current pair.I ordered two colors in size 9, each shipped from different sellers. And resulted in wildly different experiences. This led to the 3 star rating.The flats shipped by Amazon we’re exactly like my old pair. Even though I ordered a brown pair, the fit was consistent. The packaging was perfect and the flats were clearly in new condition. They are comfortable flats that don’t cause blisters.The pair shipped by Shoe Sensations was very disappointing. I ordered the shiny black color in size 9 (the exact style and size of my worn out pair) and when they arrived, the flats said they were size 9 on the box, but they fit like an 8.5 and the sizing is hidden in the toe box of the shoe so I can’t read the size. The shoe box was shipped in an oversized bag. When it arrived, the shoe box was broken and in poor shape and the shoes had fallen out. There was no additional packaging to maintain the shape of the flats, so in addition to not fitting correctly, they were misshapen.

Not as comfortable as my older Dr. Scholls flats. The inner material is rough and a little uncomfortable. They smell terrible after you wear them for a day. They give me blisters on my pinkie toes and heels. They don't provide a lot of padding or support. Way overpriced.

These shoes are so awful. I wear a size 8 in every shoe but had to return and get a size down. The fit was better but within just a few hours I was wishing I had not reordered these awful, awful shoes. The memory foam is great, but it seems the design stopped there because the shoe itself is just terrible. Both the sides and heel are so hard that after wearing for about 3 hours my feet were on the verge of bleeding. I would NOT recommend these shoes to anyone.

These are good looking, well-made shoes. However, they are way too small in all directions. I have other pairs of Dr. Scholl's and size 8.5 always works for me but these were too small length-wise and oddly from top to bottom, like my feet were being compressed to be able to fit in the toe box. Then there are these bumps in the back to hold the shoe on your foot which would make sense if they ran big, but that's just not the case. The bumps are simply blister makers. I really like Dr. Scholl's shoes but after testing these for a short period I quickly grew to hate them.

Fit comfortably right out of the box, The insole is labeled to be Memory Foam Cool Fit, and from wear on some mid 80° F days, it was labeled correctly. The shape of the toe caused some concern, unwarranted after the shoes spent some time on my feel, though I'm glad I ordered the wide width. That undoubtedly saved the squished toes about which I was concerned. The construction seems robust which contributes a feeling of value received for my money.

I wanted these to fit so badly but I’ve been let down. The size is great, no toe squishing and comfy footbed BUT the round part over the toes seriously cuts into the tendon on top of my big toe. I didn't even have it on for 30 seconds! I have skinny medium width feet so if this helps you at all, then I’m glad I wrote a review.

Really disappointed . I’m a 9 with wide feet but after wearing these one day my feet are covered in blisters . I was limping and ended up wearing flip flops home from work. :(

Not a fan of these shoes. Bought thinking they would be comfy work shoes and boy was I wrong. So painful to wear and not comfortable at all. Do not Recommend. Also missed my window for return trying to break them in, hoping it would get better but nope.
