A solid unit...no plastic and a water seal that locks out moisture around the light bulb!If it last this is a great unit!

These are metal and very sturdy vs many I’ve tried that are plastic and break easily. Rubber boot is also a plus Vs plastic ring on others

They worked great. I replaced an existing light on the corner of my house. It had rusted and the bulb had broken off inside the old fixture. These lights are very good quality. They're metal with a thick coating and they came with the hardware I needed to replace them. It made a huge difference in the illumination of the back yard. We've had an issue with prowlers and bears in the yard and I don't like going out there without knowing that I'm not walking into a bear in the dark. This light definitely does the trick. I can see most of the 3/4 acre lot when It's on.

As others have mentioned, one difficulty is that the case is powder-coated and therefore insulated, so you need to attach individual ground wires to each of the two light fixtures, the front case they're attached to and the back case -- five wires counting the ground from the supply. I had difficulty with that. Then joining the hot and return supply wires to the corresponding wires from the fixtures, I gave up on using the supplied foam weather gasket they provide. So I just applied a coating of silicone dielectric grease to the rim where the back contacts the front, and I also applying that to all of the the threads in the openings I'm not using and also to the lamps' electrical connections before screwing them in.For my application, I used an outdoor extension cord as the power source so I was able to assemble everything on the bench before mounting the fixture outside. I cannot imagine trying to complete this installation on a ladder.

I needed to upgrade and replace my old outdoor lighting, and chose several of these dual spotlights for the job. They are easy to install, even given my elementary knowledge of electrical work. The quality of the unit is very good, and they are designed to be waterproof for outdoor use. The units are complete with wiring box, cover, hardware, everything you need to install without additional cost (except flood light bulbs of course). I wish they came in black, but the bronze is dark and fits into my color scheme fine. Similar waterproofed dual spotlights are much more expensive, so I was very pleased with the attractive pricing of the Taymac LT233Z, and purchased several. And importantly, everything required is included in the box. I would not hesitate to purchase more as required for my home.

This was a replacement for a square ceiling mount light. I needed something to install smart bulbs on my front porch that was without a cover due to the heat of LED lights causing them to blow out. This fixture was very simple to install, taking all but 10-15 minutes. All hardware is included and simple instructions. It mounted perfectly on my ceiling and it could be mounted just as easy to a wall. There are multiple holes in the box making it easy to insert the light socket where you want. This made it simple to adjust for the direction of the bulbs. One thing to make certain is to use the included plugs in the empty holes with a small amount of calk in order to keep this waterproof. The price is perfect for this fixture and I highly recommend it.

I ordered 4 white floodlights and for some odd reason I received 2 white and 2 black. These are $25 each! This isn't a major issue for me since I'm not selling my home, but it sure would be nice to get the color I ordered. I'll put the black ones on the side of my house that isn't really seen. 😒Other than getting the wrong color, they are great quality and I should never have to replace them. I just wish all 4 were white.

This is a quality product, metal construction. It can mount to an existing box or with supplied mount. The sockets are sturdy, and stay where they are adjusted. Overall this part works very good.
